Sure they do. Many foods you eat daily are food recipes that have been imported to your country from the US, like fast food burgers, fried chicken, hot dogs, because they are so optimized (cheap to make) and taste so good relative to that price. Btw United States as a nation has existed for longer than your country (Turkey independence 1923 vs. US independence 1776).
but you can't deny the fact that fast food tastes good, if you wanna pretend to be above everyone else just because you don't like fast food so, be it. The majority of every country actually likes fast food. So your comment is irrelevant to what he said.
If i was in good shape and had money, i'd schedule entire weeks in which i only eat certain fast foods.
Not all are as unhealthy as the U.S though, he's right on that, for example Milanesa (i think you call it Schnitzel in Europe) is many times healthier than the average burger you can buy for 3$ in the streets of NYC but they're both fast food.
turkey as a nation is the successor to the ottoman state, which has a vast and rich gastronomic culture, so i would revise that sentence.
for reference the ottoman state was founded 1299, so way older than the us, if that is what you are going for
Cool. I did not know that. Also +1 for fan. The thing is, that an American company made famous the fried chicken as it is eaten today as a fast food. Without that company, nobody would really eat it. I think it is very far from its African origins.
ikr that dude is insane have you ever wondered why there are so many fat people in the US the food that's why my god is that stuff good basically when immigrants over the years came to the US they brought their own food with them and the US then took it and made it better like burgers for example and hotdogs
When I went on vacation in Turkey, the thing I realized was that the food in tourist cities such as in Antalya pretty bad but one time we also went outside Antalya to somewhere with less tourism and the food was pretty good.
Basically they don't give a fuck about if the food they give to tourists is bad or good in Antalya.
we literally made the sandwich, fish and chips, apple pie, jaffas, cornish pasties, english breakfast, scotch eggs, golden syrup, beef wellington, even more pies like pork/shepherd etc, and ofc Christmas Pudding
British people born in the 20s-40s had this idea that the only reason the French, Spanish and Italians had all these nice sauces and seasonings was because the quality of their meat was bad, so they needed something to cover up the flavour.
funnily enough the 'mediterranean diet' is all about no spices and just raw and varied flavours. I must say that everything here in spain is heavily oily but at least of good quality. Everyday supermarket food in the UK is terrible but you have so many amazing imports it is possible to call the UK the food capital of the world. In London for example you have restaurants from every single country in the world and they are all able to cook authentic food and recipes because they can go to a shop and source the original ingredients. Also British cuisine has evolved a lot and have their own identity and heaps of quality. Anything you can find in a gastro-pub is delightful, from the pies to the fish and chips and sunday roasts etc. However it is true that meat is tasteless in UK supermarkets , as are vegetables and fruit....
+1 the shopping habits of the average Brit is just so unimaginative. Great example of British mentality: they are FURIOUS that the Spanish fish off of the south coast of England. Go to an English supermarket, and there's not one English fish there - no Flounder, no Pike, no Chub, no Turbot or Brill.... Go to Spain, however, and their fish counters are full of them!
Egypt is pretty good. We take food from people who immigrated to Egypt in the past and add some touch to it. However, Be aware. You will get fat and ugly because we use a lot of saturated fats and sugar
There's a line across Europe -- if you're above it: it's meat and veg, fish, stodgy food etc. If you're below it, you've got top-tier cuisine. The number of northern europeans I've spoken to (scandi, british, german etc) who deny this is stunning
Showing a bulgarian flag and, at the same time, make a statement that italian food is one of the worst in the world i think it's nobel prize worthy.
I think u just won the 2020 nobel prize for dumbness (you're the first ever btw).
Italian food is great, that's the fact and anyone knows it, indeed if u go in the most isolated village in Nepal you can find "italian" restaurants and not bulgarian restaurants.
But i understand the need to feel yourself different from the majority of people, many people think to be cool saying bullshits just because those bullshit are different from the common opinion. Dont worry.
"different " literally the guy under me said Italy))
Bulgarian food isnt popular but its great, bet you know nothing about Bulgarian food so why talk?
Look how many ppl in this tread said Italy and who said Bulgarian?
Well I've been in Sofia and I ate some bulgarian dishes. Those were good, but that doesnt mean italian food is shit. Ofc, i you consider italian food "cheap" because you eat your shitty pizza in your country, well...theres not much to answer to that honestly.
Italian pizza comes with tons of ingredients, and if you eat it in a proper place, it's delicious.
As i said, there is no argument if u tried bulgarian pizza and bulgarian pasta or if u ate those in a tourist crappy restaurant in Vatican City.
don't understand retards.
Probably read the title again Mr.Retard.
When I say what is the best I say also that all other are the worst. Cuz with a positive answer you can also give a negative answer between the lines.
But expected from Ösi
