how you only heard 1 lp song in your entire life. You've probably heard quite a few and just not known who the band is
2020-09-23 15:22
That's not my puddle of sounds entirely, I don't like the sleazy, emo, tenorish metal. And the only reason I heard that one song is that I had to learn it for the auditioning, otherwise I'd stay away from that!

2020-09-23 13:57
one of the best selling artists of all time Saying they're overrated isn't an opinion it's just factually wrong
2020-09-23 15:23
verb past tense: overrated; past participle: overrated "have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved." What are you on about? It is literally an opinion. And even then, if a lot of people have a high opinion of a product, then it produces sales. But it is still possible for someone to believe that this high opinion by the general population is undeserved.
2020-09-23 16:19
1. Chester is so overrated 2. Musically they arent the best 3. They are just a rap version of nirvana

I find LP and their fans annoying nowadays. Like we get it bro, you're born in the nineties and were depressed in the 2000s. That said, I think most their songs are overplayed as shit, so I'd say Breaking The Habbit still sounds nice.

Linkin Park isn't necessarily for depressed people. Tbh I just liked their early songs cause I could relate to the lyrics in some ways and they brought feelings out in both aggressive and more soft ways.

excuse me what? who the fuck listens to f.e. a thousand suns or hunting party? i mean its great but not so popular while there are some overrated (overrated=/=bad) songs from their first albums which are overused but how can u call someone fan of some band if their favorite song is a song that was just mega popular back then
2020-09-23 14:38
When they quit nu metal, they dropped hard. Some few hits but nothing close to the first two albums.
2020-09-23 14:44
Okay thats ur opinion dont say "they dropped hard", "i didnt like their next albums" is the right way
2020-09-23 15:38
Success so pure numbers back up my opinion. They also know it that is why they played at all concert the same hits and around that some few changes. Mike also said that they quit nu metal cuz they would never reach that success again and they don't want that pressure. So they made new music direction
2020-09-23 16:21
pure numbers show that some lil r1337t@rxxdxx makes good music and is very successful him being successful is a fact but does he really make something worthy? that could be questioned very easy from what ive seen they always played mix of their songs from almost every album every concert but i could be wrong never said that their nu metal music werent successful its just very overrated if we compare it with their later albums
2020-09-23 19:32
successfull by numbers mean also fans all over the world and fill stadiums. Sth you don't get easy by just sell records. And fans from all kind of age gender etc. Hear it from Mike itself in this video. So my opinion is based on his own words ca 2 mins duration. youtu.be/vLgzgEbotUM?t=2762 And for me personal the stuff at the third album and after not even close to the first 2 albums at "artist" level. Mike worked 3-4 years on breaking the Habit. Sth he probably never did before and after that. You feel that the first 2 albums are a lot more personal and that is what art is for. i don't need music that tells me how good the day will be. And Chesters voice performance was never better as at the first 2 albums. He put so much effort in it but the neweser stuff transformed him into a pop singer. You can easily say if LP didn't make the first 2 albums nobody would consider them as the band they are today. They would stay at the level of some 1-2 hit wonders.
2020-09-23 21:12
U dont need a music that tells how good the day will be? Now i can clearly see that u are just 1 of the bandwagoners who afrqid to hear something new Main theme of minutes to midnight is the end of humanity The thousand suns continues with it Living things is about eternal sorrow and how hard it is to find urself in our world but much more beautiful than in HT and meteora The hunting party is just a mix of everything that they have done before Also I RESPECT AND LOVE METEORA AND HYBRID THEORY (is there any point to mention Reanimation EP? I guess no) , forgotten and breaking the habit are one of my favorites but LP grew up from this angry teen to hopeless adult Voice performance is subjective i can tell that I'LL BE GONE was his peak
2020-09-23 22:12
I back up my opinion with facts that a band member reveleas, but I am a bandwagons. Aha . Come back when you can back up you argumentation with facts. L
2020-09-23 22:30
are u trying to bait me or...? literally mike said that they first albums were a huge success ??? i mean how can u even deny it? are u retarded or something? maybe ur english level doesnt allow u to understand me? if so dont reply? u said that their albums were abuot "how good the day is" and that means that u dont even know any album after meteora? and still u talk shit? thats why u are bandwagoner?
2020-09-24 08:41
i hate to break ur little world where LP band members are thinking that their first two albums were their best but if u could search any fucking information then u would see that they always tried to do what they like but gained so much pressure from retards who are 12 y.o. inside

I remember when people HATED his new songs when it came out especially the one with Heavy then people pretended to like the new album when he died bunch of hypocrites
2020-09-23 13:59
I still think it is a shit song. Maybe as peom it is okay but as song not good. The song I connect with his dead is Burning in the sky. Cuz of "I losing what I don't deserve" this has so much different meaning in this context. From Chesters own songs that he wrote almost alone I can recommend Dayze greyz morei sky

one more light is more or less his goodbye. tbh some of his songs in his career explain his pain but no one noticed it. his last album was his goodbye
2020-09-23 14:43
I don't think this way. The day greyz Album is a good bye. Most of the songs he wrote with the drummer It is much more personal also his oldest son and his widow supported it. And he met in that band his first wife. They did also a performance together at the original album. From that time. In LP Chester was the voice but the most impact songs are written by Mike who was the brain behind the band. So when people say "Chester said in his songs" it is wrong. Mike wrote almost every song lyrics with a little bit impact of Chester cuz he had to sing it. And I think from all songs Chester would thought that night was probably breaking the habit. He loved the song and the lyrics fit with his alcohol addiction and "I don't know what worth fighting for" "this is how it ends"

You cannot make a topic discussing the best Linkin Park song, state one and then type "/close" -- That isn't how topics work and you've essentially just negated the entire purpose of creating a topic to begin with. What could've been a fantastic topic turned sour...
