Finally gets a little closer to intel in terms of clock speed but the price...even poor people can't buy it right now xddd
Ryzen 7 5800x = 450$
I bought my 10700kf for around 380$ xdddd
Also max clock speed of 5800x is 4.7 while i running my 10700kf on @5.1 and don't tell me about freaking temps,I have around 38-40° idle and 60-65° under load(at games)...
Man tbh, any non competitive game 60 frames it's enough, no need to have 200 frames on Assassins creed. I usually limit my fps to this, so i avoid bottlenecks or power wasting. Only unlocking it while playing csgo or r6.
144hz or higher feels so good in games i just can't go back to shitty 60fps,i know it feels arrogant but it is how it is 144fps feels a lost more comfortable then 60 in any game even in old shitty games
I have 240hz monitor but it's not worth it tbh,144hz is enough.
Probably in cs go yes but not on games like, rdr 2 or it will not have 150 fps plus in cyber punk in at least medium settings.
I just don't want to play on super low settings
There are some benchmarks (fe techspot.com/article/1876-4ghz-ryzen-3rd..) showing the 3900x (on 8 cores) outperforming the 9900k at 4ghz both, which means instructions per clock on ryzen 3000 are higher, but ipc is also dependent on the workload.
Then again intel boosts way higher which is why they are overall way better for gaming.
Even if the numbers amd showed are right, i am a little disappointed in the pricing.
It especially will kill your power adapter. Or maybe I can use it as heather in the cold winter. I guess Syberia will buy a lot of them. -30C° no problem for the CPU.
And You can buy a whole atomic plant to run 5 of this CPUs
Intel is great in bullshit.
I told you about temps but will tell it again...amds 7nm is just bullshit there is almost no difference compared to intels 14++++++ so if intel had 10nm it would be better then amd's 7nm just so you know!
no difference?? but Intel is too dumb to change to 7nm... they try and fail.
Try and fail is the new slogan of Intel and their beta cucks.
And btw Intel has 10NM cpus... what kind of fan are you that you don't know that. Probably a delusional one.
can't wait to see how this ages.
Zen 3 is 8 cores per ccx so intel's latency advantage for single thread shit like games essentially no longer exists. The old 14nm+++++++ won't be able to keep up another 2 years don't be delusional.
amd was all hype 1600 crap, 2600 crap, 3600 close but not yet, 5600 overpriced crap
intel has always been the winner.
people are just mad about the past pricings because of their monopoly.
there is a problem now...
amd is not the poor mans cpu anymore.
so what are they going to buy now?
Nope, people paid for same garbage cpus with same xore architecture years and years with 5-10% performance improvement gen over gen before amd came along, bridged the gap and pretty much will overtake intel on the only slim advantage intel has which is ipc lead. Too bad its gonna go away with ryzen 5xxx, btw how tf do you know that r5 5600 will be overpriced?
Its ipc, not ips, ips are panelsl types for displays lol. And indeed clock speeds does not matter, a 6 ghz naehalem or a sandy bridge cannot beat a 4.3 ghz zen+, let alone a zen2. So its IPC which is more important, not clock speed.
Clock frequency isn't everything. AMD already had close performance to Intel with a lower clock. Now that they doubled the cache and reduced their latencies, which was their big disadvantage in gaming, those Zen 3 will for sure supass Intel.
