it's weird though, surely companies would rather setup offices somewhere a bit out of Capital so that they can pay less their employees and still get the same level of utilization. What really is the purpose of having your offices in the center if your clients will either use the services remotely or will come with a company car.

when the project is 3mins from the Big Ben your team need to be close to it - this is just one example - also proximity to clients and meetings is critical - of course while covid it is different but on average I am visiting our central LDN office 1-2 times a week and there are 1-2 site visits also in central London weekly so it does make sense to live in central London too 15-20mins away from all these personal interactions is worth it for me

it works - some part of every residential building it has to have affordable flats in it I believe it is 20% that is based on the individuals circumstances can be bought you need be under certain salaries etc - this has to be your first property you'd own. So in practice an average salaried guy can live in the building with someone who earns 8x as much.

Yeah,here,in the countryside of Hungary prices are not too high for living.You can rent an apartment for about 150 dollars,but there are probably cheaper ones out there.I usually spend around the same for food as well. But the salaries are a joke,most people only have a high school degree,most 9-5 type jobs pay around minimum wage which is not enough if you want to live alone.

Well, true intend is sometimes more important than the actual law, and i do think his ban is fair, just have him as my flair for the meme. It is very interesting, i would recommend it, but you have to be ready to study on average 3-4 hours every day, it is very heavy stuff. I dont know how smart it would be to get a law degree in Denmark, and then go to your home country with maybe completely different law systems, then you just have to start over. :D Unless you just specialize in EU-Law xD.

Had I stayed and taken the education I would've more than likely made the decision to live there for a considerable amount of years afterwards. I'd say I'm pretty used to having to work hard for the desired results in school. Living in Korea until i was 15 coded 12-14 hour schooldays into my brain lmao. I guess the biggest problem would've been the language barrier, as I would've preferred to take the education in Danish

im studying in computer science, going for a major in IT security, thinking about maybe working as an IT-architect of some sort, average wage is 5000eur, starting wage in sthlm is 4k eur set in stone, you are specifically told by the uni to decline any offer below that (apart from google or facebook etc, you take those jobs without even looking at the salary)

Depends on where you work and what type of engineering you are studying. Chemical engineering isn't among the highest paid fields of engineering over here. Also there are two types of engineers over here. There is either college engineer (3 year education) and civil engineer (5 years), where the civil engineers are obviously paid more. Maybe €4k is slightly overestimated but I'm getting my degree from the highest regarded uni in Sweden in one of the major cities so it shouldn't be much lower. I can access databases that report the first wages from graduated students from my uni and many are over €4k a month.
