Niko kicked karrigan proof
Sri Lanka Uditha
Below text is taken from an interview with rain before karrigan was kicked During the tournament it emerged that NiKo had taken over calling for the team after going down 0-2, how would you contrast karrigan and NiKo's style of calling? “We still have the same stuff that we had with karrigan, we don't know what was really going wrong, it might have been confidence issues but now we are getting something new with NiKo calling. Even though it is really bad timing being in the middle of a Major it is working for us, everything is less stressed than it was before the change. After losing in Stockholm we had a really high-stress level whilst we were playing and it kept going into this tournament as well, we felt like we were not on the same page and getting in NiKo as the caller we now have some fresh ideas.” Link for the full interview: realsport101.com/csgo/rain-i-think-niko-..

As a player - yes. As a IGL - no. NiKo is a great player but he's one of the worst IGLs in top30 HLTV.

"he literally lost them the final" - The fact the only game where he doesn't do genius shit they lose just shows how dependent they were on him

what are you even saying ???, you're just proving my point, that team getting there had a lot to do with karrigan, and the fact the only time karrigan fucked up they went to shit just shows they weren't that good, they should have had FAR enough individual skill to push the win. Oh and karrigan is known to mind game in the veto, sometimes it's gonna be a mess up, but guess what, that again shows you how reliant they were on him and individual performance.

Omg such a dumb statement, "they should have had FAR enough individual skill to push the win" individual skill doesn't always win games specially in a map like overpass. And so? Ofc they are reliant on him, he is the fucking igl. If you're picking overpass against a cloud9 that were dominating on that map then surely you deserve the blame. IMO karrigan should deserve credit where it's due but people like you ignoring the mistakes he made and only focusing on his bright side is ridiculous m8
2020-10-10 16:10
hltv.org/matches/2318632/faze-vs-cloud9-.. Niko also choked hard. Faze was kinda 3v5. Also skadoodle having game of his life

Karrigan picking overpass was just a death sentence. I'm not even talking about the choke on inferno

Still doesnt change the fact that niko massively underperformed. Also IGL isnt only one who has voice in veto. I know in faze robban probably was quiet but there is possibillity it wasnt karrigans idea. Also train would be really simmilar to inferno. MAybe better fighting chance for faze but we all know they lost on inferno.

Yeah he underperformed on mirage which faze won so it didn't hurt theam that much. I give you that, niko played below average but on overpass the team was literally getting rekt t-side and on inferno he made a reasonable game

Well his whole finals showing was nothing special. But yeah only one that didnt choke that whole match was guardian looks like. Niko played like himself on inferno and i remember he threw some easy trades. Rain was almost non existent. Only ones who did their job properly were Guardian and olof seems like.

I fail to understand how I can take this as any proof.

Okay u have to use the the process of considering or reasoning about something called “thinking” but its okay so niko said he doesn’t have anything to do with the whole karrigan kicking thing. But just before it was happened niko started calling and questioning karrigan’s igling.Technically niko thought he is a better caller/igl.After a month or so karrigan was kicked and even a person who has peanut sized brain can understand that niko has something to do with the kicking of karrigan.

This doesn't prove anything. It only confirms your assumptions
2020-10-10 11:47
That's no proof my brother , that's you believing what you want to believe. NiKo only started to IGL after they were 0-2 in the groups of the major.Going 0-3 meant they had to go through qualifiers and no one wants that. Not to mention FaZe was going through some rough period after that choke against c9. NiKo took over the IGL and they went 3-2 in groups and put up a decent fight against astralis that was , at the time , the best team in the scene. They then made karrigan into an IGL the next tournament and they bombed out in the groups. And they won epicenter after that (I think it was epicenter) with NiKo as an IGL. Karrigan himself said that he lost confidence in his calls and how are you supposed to have confidence in an IGL with no confidence in himself. They decided to kick him not bcs NiKo hated him but rather bcs there is no point in having karrigan and waste his potential as an IGL by playing support under NiKo. That team with karrigan just kept getting worse and worse. NiKo probably wanted to IGL to try and secure playoffs and did , got the IGL role back to karrigan after he chocked again and just decided to part ways with him and give him a chance again in a different team. Untill someone from within the team comes out and confirms the influence that NiKo has I won't believe HLTV experts such as you. There were so many names comming in and out of FaZe and for sure someone would have had something to say about it. But for now , it's all a blind hate.

Not at all. He's saying that all the team had the same feeling and the games were stressful. Niko started calling because he did the same on mouz and he was the only one with experience in that field. It's overstated that it was a whole team decision and if you followed Faze back then, you'll remember how they started to go down super quick and they needed changes.

i mean if your igl is having a confidence problem not being as communicative as he ahould be then someone else has to take over, but niko isnt an igl and never was.
2020-10-10 15:41
HLTV was flooded with -karrigan back then. They had to kick him but the problem was that they replaced him with adren and not an igl
2020-10-10 15:43
ok nice he should have been kicked way earlier
2020-10-10 15:55
doesnt matter what they say, we all know how niko works, same shit since mouz days, this guy has a huge ego and think the blame is everytime on other ppl, but the truth is he is one of the biggest chokers in csgo history. #karrigandidnothingwrong #FREERAIN #ChoKo #tarik_1_major_ChoKo_0_major
