Brining back the brand was the biggest mistake. Immortals should have made them be a flop under the immortals name cuz the mibr brand has been ruined

To be fair they performed worse when they left
2020-10-16 16:33
tarik and stew were actually good on that team they were improving but when they left they became trash
2020-10-16 17:48
They actually made semi finals and finals of major and tier 1 tournaments. Mibr became dogshit after both left, Mibr was like hovering top 6-4 with them
2020-10-16 17:57

16-0 lmao
2021-01-17 18:56
that was actually a better team when they got tarik and stewie
2020-10-16 20:02
MiBR (with stew and tarik) when A-Tier tournament. MiBR (without stew and tarik) do nothing at all except lose to randoms from Europe.

I dont believe they would achieve a thing even if Zeus stayed there, after the won major gambit shoulda been disbanded and all the players gone to other teams.

Thats the point They were all 25-30 except for hobbit, if they wouldve stayed together they would have washed up together and that wouldve become worse which actually happened sure ngl tho.

+1 I heard they had multiple issues in their team prior to the major. Then they won the major (which is glorious honestly, really happy they did) and had like another sort of honeymoon period again, buuut I don't think it solved the internal issues from before the major. It was inevitable really

Yeah. everyone likes to dunk on zeus because of his subpar KD but his teams always turn out pretty successful in spite of that.
2021-01-17 16:48
Nah thats BS they were never an actual top team, they got into a few playoffs but thats it.Even in the major the only actually strong team they beat was Astralis. They likely would've done well for some events after the major but realisticly its very unlikely they would've stay an event winning team for a long time

i didnt say it was not bad, i just said it was kind of overblown of how bad it was, seeing how some people said it was the worst roster move of 2018, imo the clear worst roster move of 2018 was fnatic kicking golden and lekro for xizt draken

The ence move honestly wasnt that bad, that team was already dead in the water. Once the aug got nerfed ence died. Did -aleksib hurt ence? Sure, but realistically it probably didnt make much of a difference, it's not like ence was gonna win any tourneys anyways.
2020-10-16 16:19

They did perform well before the AUG and krieg buffs as well, they just weren't really invited to that many tournaments at that point. Did the AUG help them? Sure but it helped almost everyone but FaZe clan.
2020-10-16 16:24
The team was still salvageable at that point. You don't just go from having a top tier IGL and 2 top 30 players to falling out of the HLTV top 20 after some gun gets nerfed. Imo right move would have been to remove xseveN for sLowi

Faze's Karrigan kick and we might start considering Nitro leaving TL in threads like these as well if they don't pick up an awper or IGL soon.

acillion is son of hunden, so he has same tactics with slightly better firepower if they didn't sold bub and kept hunden as coach, they may start win something, but unfortunately astralis are so rich

True, NaVi just got fucked by Gaben. Imagine S1mple and Guardian both in decent form with Starix as coach IGL. And Edward was at a really solid form back then aswell. He only began to play worse after Zeus left

-Zeus came down as a bad move because they got completely fucked over by Valve with the coaching rule.Starix was the igl for some time at that point and they started dropping off, they could've been world beaters if starix wasnt handicapped.
2021-01-16 23:21

yes, but cs is game of 5 the igl role is not needed anymore if u have coach comms just 5 raw aimers in the long distance it would damage the scene hopefully valve made this desicion right quickly
2021-01-16 23:25
1 reply
I dont think so,it would make the game more fun to watch with better teams since there isnt a player effectively handicapped by being an igl and having to focus on so many different things. There might be 5 players in the round but does that mean there shouldnt be any coaches/analysts helping the players? Not for me.

Too many to list. Anything North has done is a nice place to start. Imagine if they had kept Konfig and Magisk. Who knows where it goes but certainly better then it's been.
2021-01-16 23:31
navi bringing simple and kicking zeus faze sk when they had to kick fnx could have been astralis today
2021-01-16 23:38
Pretty accurate
2021-01-16 23:54
MIBR stewie was pretty bad Snax to mouz made the team worse even if they won a big event with him That G2 team in the second half of 2018 bringing back SmithZz was garbage FaZe since they made that team in summer 2017 have generally made bad acquisitions

5. mad lions -hunden in 2020 (bubzkji omegalul) yes pretty bad, but mad lions werent THAT good before. 4. envyus -kio in 2016 (kio was the problem) envy was trash before and after that move. saved kio if anything. 3. navi -zeus in 2016 because tired of being consistent top 5 team and playing in major finals it was either zeus or seized, and they didnt realize they would have needed a better igl. bad move still. 2. ence -aleksib in 2019 while being top 2 hltv and a consistent top 5 team for a long time worst move ever. 1. gambit -zeus -kane after winning a major in 2017 (if u know the story u know what im talking about) gambit was trash and won the major finals against...immortals. a bad move for sure, but the org was trash and we saw what happened to the players shortly after. gambit surely was not going to win more tournaments. i would probably have gone with -karrigan off faze( he was the reason the team worked) -stewie off c9(bad for both parties) -seangares off c9 (team was absolute shit until they got auti) -sunny off mouz (why would he do that to himself) -aleksib off ence obviously -and ya, anything north has ever done. -snax to mouz (styko kept that team strong and snax rearranged everything and made mouz worse -fnatic kicking golden for the first time after WESG(wtf were they thinking, 3 tournaments in a row or something then they kick him)
