Strictly equal in the sense we are all HLTV users... Whether we like it or not, we all browse the website as "users" - nothing more, nothing less.
- HLTV Admins/mods
- VIP users
- Regular users <-- This is where we are, friend.
- FitGuy has been banned several times and has alternate accounts for days.
- jobs!, to my knowledge, has never received a ban or has any alternate accounts.
Do either of those points mean the aforementioned users are legendary? That is up for debate. I miss both users, of course. Fame is strictly subjective as none of us have really worked hard to achieve any notoriety or fame, we simply browse a forum.
I've had several hundred threads made about me, several blogs (in the past) made about me, I've had more than 20 impostor accounts attempting to be me that were eventually banned thanks to Jonathan E. and I've accrued over 40k comments on the website -- Does that make me notorious or legendary, friend?
It isn't definable or relative, it's strictly subjective. If people think I am "famous" then that is their opinion to be respected. It's obviously a joy people like me as a user and think I am anything more than a regular user but I have to wholeheartedly disagree at the same time.
I'm not baiting or trying to start an argument of any kind, I just think it is both unfair and unnecessary to assume we are more than regular users, as we are not.
