FURIA in EU
 |
Serbia el1teman
How do you think they will perform in EU? Do you think they will play good vs EU Tier 1? Personally I think yes but arT will be hard countered and punished with his pushes.
2020-10-20 19:16
Topics are hidden when running Sport mode.
They will do decent but probably not make it to semi finals

big were onliners way before corona hit. Thats why they were "the best", but now that everyone has adjusted to online, big is nowhere to be seen.

he said prime astralis hltv.org/matches/2333773/furia-vs-astral.. this was not prime astralis this was literally smack in the middle of the blastralis era where astralis were losing to the likes of liquid, ence, vitality, furia, and basically any other team that actually played events hltv.org/stats/teams/events/6665/Astrali.. even later on in 2019, that still wasn't prime astralis prime astralis was in 2018, where they would've 32-0 furia entire argument is stupid basically hes saying furia, with a completely different roster, beat astralis 1 year ago while astralis was at their weakest in the past 3 years, so they can beat them again today

That's delusional, SK just demolish NA and conquered the world, its the second team behind only Astralis at most time on top 1 spot, 2 majors, 10+ tier 1 LAN titles, many of them in NA soil.. So no, Liquid did well winning grand slam, Cloud9 did well winning a major (fluke btw) but SK just rekt all world for 2 years in a row, and of course, won 2 majors in a row too. NA never ever had something close to this level.
2020-10-21 15:31
Furia already played against tier 1 EU teams on lan. They won against Astralis, Vitallity, G2, North and had a close bo3 against Fnatic. I think people underrate Furia so much when comparing to EU teams, they attented two lans in europe so far, and reached a final and a semi-final.

it depends on veto, match form of players etc, but I would definitely like to see furia in eu + that would be in lan so it is also hard to say.
2020-10-20 19:39
i think the problem is that furia is the only team that is real strong in other scenario besides EU. So, teams can watch and analysis their tatics way better than furia to other teams. Like coming to eu, teams will watch only 2 teams demos ( eg and furia). In other hand, this 2 teams must watch so many other teams, so it's hard to counter strats and play stiles. I t hink furia and navi will be the most aggresive match to watch. But furia will struggle, but i hopping that this aggressive type of team gos ahead and stop some boring stuff like astralis top one again

Yes some EU teams are super tactical and to counter arT is pretty easy for team like Astralis. But Vino stepped up massively recently especially on inferno, hen1 poggers especially on mirage . Balanced team!

i don't know, it's just random u know? Some times, arT dosen't have a really nice impact but furia wins any way because of the good aim that furia has in general. So if arT goes wild, i think furia can have some round tha't will make bo3 more interesting. U talk about astralis can counter thouse tipe of plays, but against them last time art has a really nice impact. We will see!

because old furia arT wasnt adjusting and was still rushing all the time and getting punished. Its great to see that they know when they need to be rushing and when to play passive, that what will make them even better!

Yeah, also the "inconsistency" of the velocity they play will be a great tool for them. The majority of teams have only one kind of gameplay, for example LG/SK/MIBR would always play passive, grab information and advantage and enter in the last second to plant the bomb, but furia love to vary the play style as a team too. I'm excited to see what will happen...
2020-10-21 04:52
u know why art aggressive style works in NA... Just look at the players he faces in NA and now look players in EU tier 1 teams. U think he can out duel them? no... i can easily name 20 players from EU who can outaim art and his aggressive plays in any day of the week.

A Year ago, when Furia wasn't "grown up" they've beaten up Astralis, they're way better than that time and hella confident right now, I think they'll do very well
2020-10-21 06:24
From my point of view, they will be able to play well in the EU, but they will also need to study a little bit of self, because the style of play is very different from NA. They may not even win the final, but they will be able to learn much more. They have already won against some teams in the EU, but it was not enough to win the championship (but remember, nothing is impossible)
