gaming experience... whats so hard to understand? That's like saying you need 144hz for minecraft... People like ultra wide monitors for many games purely for their enjoyment and not to perform better at games. Some games don't require any level of skill or adeptness and therefore a 24 inch monitor limits the actual experience of a casual game. I personally would rather play minecraft for example on an ultrawide than a 24" despite not owning one. Also racing games people prefer them.
Your eyeballs can only perfectly see max 24 inches of screen from 2ft away without moving your head. Larger than 24 inches will require moving further away from the monitor or moving your head to see the edges of your screen.

It’s all relative to how close you sit.
From 6 inches away 24” can be too big.
From 6ft 27” can be too small
I prefer 27” because I can move it further back for more mouse/keyboard space and still see clearly.
For csgo you have to put all the screen space in your fov.
If you have to move your head it will be bad so if you have a 27" screen you should take more distance from it.
So there's no advantage using a 27" screen for csgo.
