It doesn’t matter on what sens you play as long as it is in this range. 1.2 - 3.5 on 400 dpi. You will get used to it, decision making and gamesense is what’s important.

There is no "best sens", because it depends on your arm position and what you find comfortable to use. Do you only use your wrist when aiming? Or do you use the whole arm to move around? Or maybe something in between? If you try to use really low sens while wrist aiming it might feel really uncomfortable or hard to play with. Also if you try to use really high sens while arm aiming it might be really hard to aim precisely, since you have finer motor skills in your wrist. Also what sens and DPI have you tried so far? And for how long? It might take a bit longer than a month to get fully comfortable with a new sens, so just be patient. Hopefully this helped.

If you use your wrist then I'd recommend going with a bit higher sens, since low sens might feel really uncomfortable to play with. I'd keep your eDPI 800+ (400 DPI and 2 in-game sens or higher). As I said before there isn't a "best sens" that you can use, it's just trial and error. One other thing you could try is pro players' sens, because they give you a good idea what people use. Because you are a wrist aimer I'd take a look at KSCERATO, s1mple, EliGE and maybe woxic. They all use high sens since they are wrist aimers. You could also try their sens and see how it feels, you never know. Hopefully this helped.

Imo it's easier to get familiar with high sens, but it also takes much longer to get fully comfortable with it. Maybe try 1.9 - 2.4 in-game sens for two weeks or more and then decide if you want to lower or increase it? Playing FFA DM servers and/or Aim Lab also helps get more used to your sens so you could try that. Oh and try to practice flicks and fast movements, it should help create muscle memory. And remember it doesn't instantly feel good, just be patient and try to get used to it. Changing sens too often will ruin your muscle memory, so it will not feel very good at start. GL!

try the silvers method for ballanced sens. join a local server, aim at any reference point and set the mouse with a low DPI - 600/800 is good enough 1. put your mouse to the far left edge of your mousepad. 2. slowly move it to the far right edge in a straight line. you should be able to go only a bit more than 180 degrees, not much more than that (too high) and definitely not under (too low). This is the 'default' sens. After that, you can keep going up or down according to your movement style

An activity becomes comfortable after attaining muscle memory to perform it effortlessly. There is no single perfect sensitivity until you have created one.

The thing is: I play with some sens for a while and it feels great, then for some reason it starts to feel like a different sens and becomes uncomfortable and incosisntent af, even tho I didn’t change anything

Stop changing it around so much. Comfortability comes from taking the time to get used to something.

Just pick one and stick with it, comfort comes with time. Dont switch it when you have bad days, just stick with it regardless. As a side note, if you wanna start fresh, i would personally recommend a medium-high to high sens (or edpi). Yes, its harder to master, but once you do, youll be a much better player. I have been through all during the years, from as low as 1.1@400dpi to 0.63@1600 (more than double). Higher sens is def better when you master it. Just my 2 cents.

Nah, also bad...models different movement speed and the difference in how you perceive the mouse movement speed also fucks you up. You just swallow bad days and continue to push through it...

If you're using your wrist ONLY, I'd recommend keeping it high. you could try to 600dpi 3.35 which is actually really high but lower than mine. Also you can always adjust it by 0.1 or 0.2 depending on how your wrist feels that day.

it's because you are changing it up constantly and never taking the time to create muscle memory
2020-10-24 12:31
I know you're trolling, but might be it could help someone else. What a player needs is to practise. aim_botz - ADADAD speed 5 and whatever pattern, P2000 and M4, HS only, heavy kevlar+helmet so you need to hit them many times in the head - and do it 30 minutes straight. Because there's no "comfortable" sens, there's only what you mastered enough to hit your enemies. And if you just can't handle any sens - may be FPS is not for you.

I’m not trolling lol I can destroy everyone in DM or on aim_bots but when it comes to actual matches my sens just feels innacurate or inconvenient

May be it's psychological? You may care more about not losing particular duels in competitive and that's why you're missing. And I recommend you to play faceit, 128tick is cool and way cooler than that shitty 64tick MM.
