1. 5(or below) 2. Interstellar basically tells you or teach you nothing so just go to IMDB and find films that are below 6 points. Watch Sharknado at least you will laugh. It is about Tornado Sharks invading world. 3. Interstellar is just overrated bullshit. You might get offended by this, I can understand but there are many better movies than Interstellar.

1. 10/10 2. Interstellar is the best of its kind 3. Basically, the humanity is ending, and some scientists found a wormhole in the orbit of Jupiter, so they go through that wormhole to find potentially habitable planets

As a sci-fi movie, honestly, I would rate it a solid 8.5/10. It's really good, but not perfect. As a movie about love between father and his daughter, tho, I would rate 10/10. The last scene always makes me shed a few tears. Hans zimmer also wrote the main theme as a theme about love between a father and his daughter, not about space travel. The way Nolan makes it work together is incredible, overall I would say the movie is a solid 9.5/10. One of the best I have seen in my life - and I have seen a lot of movies. Of course, if someone is one of the "cold units" and doesn't care about the whole "love" plot, then he will only see this as a sci-fi movie, thus rating it below 8, I suppose. But if someone has a heart and a brain, he will appreciate the story about missing your loved ones. Just this time it's missing your loved ones in space, and it's beautifully written. TLDR Interstellar is a great movie but not everyone can appreciate it
2020-10-25 12:14
Is ok movie. I read a lot about black holes and it was amazing to see it in big movie. The ending is meh tho. Overall i would rate it 7/10

+1 if i remember correctly then black hole simulation was so good that it even helped science because of real the theoretical equations and when the first photo of real black hole was published, it didnt too much different from the one from movie, hell even nasas black hole visualization looked like its from interstellar

it's 9/10 or 10/10 for me, no movie has left me with the same feeling of watching interstellar, also having a masterpiece soundtrack by hans zimmer is just an icing on the cake, maybe you'll like The Martian if you like Interstellar, there are a couple of interstellar casts in the movie too. The movie basically explains that love trascends time and space, people think it's a sci fi movie with a spice of father-daughter connections but in reality it's the opposite of it. feel free to ask me if you have any questions, my indonesian friend.

Interstellar is based on the french film La jetée, same as 12 Monkeys. The memories of something dear to us can transcend time. stronger is the bond, stronger is the motivation and time cant change that.
2020-10-25 14:35
rating varies from person to person, for some its 10/10, like for me. For some, on the other hand, its 5/10 and they hate it with every fiber of their soul for some reason.

guys i dont understand, how the f he end up behind bookshelf? and watching back the time when he still on earth? i thought he & dr.brand want to go to edmund's planet. i cant understand this :( but im sad :(

What happened after Cooper fell into the black hole is pretty much only producers' vision of what may happen after you enter a black hole, so it doesn't have to make much sense for you. There's also a theory that says he simply died and it all happened in his head. So Cooper ends up in a tesseract (basically a 4-dimensional cube) where time is just another physical dimension, so it means moving in space allows him to move in time - that's why he could see the past and even influence the past through gravity

Thanks man. I just finished it. I thought cooper station will be the planet to live. But its not, right? Edmund's planet is the one to live. But, is every people on cooper station are the one that Dr.brand bring with him into space or not?
2020-10-25 13:33
2 replies
so basically the people on earth didn't know that dr brand is still alive, hence the ending of the movie showing cooper getting on a spaceship to go after her, but professor brand (the old man) already prepared the Endurance Crew with a plan B which is breeding a whole new civilization on planet edmund, regardless if the population on earth survives or not
2020-10-25 14:14
I don't know if I remember correctly, but I think all the people of Earth were saved and transported to multiple stations across the Solar System including the Cooper Station, where they could happily live.
2020-10-25 14:25
No, you are wrong, that tesseract was man made years later. Thats how they could bring him back at the station after. Humans made the blackhole, but far in the future. They had to pass information to the girl which later find the equation for space time exploration. The problem is how do you do that? Like he said in the movie, they have acces to any space and time of the chamber, but to pinpoint the exact moment? And how? The best way is to use someone who has a strong bond with her, a way of communicating, who knows what will be the best moment to do it. That bond is important, thats why they said love can travel throught time. A strong bond creates a strong memories and no matter how many times has passed, that memory will still remain unchanged. That idea comes from the french film La jetée and was also used as an inspiration for 12 Monkeys.
2020-10-25 14:57
spoiler alert** From what I understood, future humans created those wormholes and blackholes, and they created the blackhole in a way, so that Cooper can send a message to his daughter. Because if his daughter didnt receive the message, the humanity couldnt have been saved
2020-10-25 15:14

2020-10-25 13:14
I love the idea when the end is the beginning and the beginning is the end. Beside visual effects and the sacrifices of the main char I give it a 9/10 (for a 10 the film must hit me like a truck)
