I think many people would say Heroic are playing noticeably better than the sum of their parts.
Every time Heroic wins i hear "this team was nobodies how did they climb so fast"
Also no idea how you KNOW absolutely that these teams rely on their coach for gameplans MORE than other teams.
I mean gla1ve and all of Astralis are consistently outspoken about how much Zonic does for them and thats how every roster would be. But the coach cant play the game or mid-round for the IGL, so you have to give the IGL their credit.
Their results never really got better after changing lekro to hampus. For now hampus belongs to the somewhat decent category, lets see in couple of months if he can get anything out of those swedens best talents

Good point, but expected them to struggle at the beginning and to climb by time since everyone was used to call in their foreign language and not in english (except mantuu ofc). And finding the correct Position that suits for every Player, also online and not in bootcamps which aleksi definetly deserves credit for since i can imagine that doing that stuff online is a pain in the ass

I am not saying that Aleksib is a shit IGL, he is very good at being an IGL. He showed that in ENCE. but he is not yet on the level that gla1ve is. Gla1ve is the only S tier IGL in this era. I am fine with putting aleksib on A or B tier but he is not an all time high IGL like gla1ve

First of Karrigan actually won t1 trophies with every one of his lineups and mouz is no exception. Secondly, he picked up frozen an unproven t3 (at that time) player, woxic who was stuck in Hellraisers (very much like Issa) and ChrisJ who had is a few years past his prime at this point and now bymas who was kicked from faze after only having red ratings in all the tourneys he played for them.
Meanwhile oG got Valde, Issa, NBK (honestly the worst one but he got more impact than ChrisJ) and Mantuu who was the only risky pickup but have definitely proven himself

The ropz-frozen-chrisJ-woxic-karrigan lineup was one of the most firepower-concentrated rosters at the time. They did have some success, but later on somehow couldn't get their act together

No, IGLing isnt just pure calling, you need to frag at a tier 1 level to be considered S tier and Aleksib falls behind in that category whereas gla1ve doesnt. Thats a noticeable advantage that gla1ve has over Aleksib which means its perfectly reasonable to have gla1ve superior.

Apex is currently a really good IGL; making it to pretty much all Grand Finals this year speaks for something. While the execution of Vita's strats can go array, there are a bunch of times where they've just won round without needing to kill a single CT or-1 as T side. Just through timings and maneuvers. Mega underrated at least A. Also Krystal OMEGALUL///

This list is so stupid, I do not get anything from the list. Firstly I am wondering in what time range did you consider for this list. If it is 2020 it is so foolish, even if it is not 2020 it is so foolish again. Why would you put Krystal higher rank than Nexa Golden and Stanislaw? These guys all igl do not look at their individual stats when you compare them, consider what they achieved with the team. There also some unlogical things on this list.

What they achieved with the team is relative to the players they have. Im not going to expect Krystal and gla1ve to have the same results with the rosters in question. Im going to look to see which IGL is making their players look more cohesive and has them consistently performing and I'd say Krystal sets up the players on his team very well, you can tell they are drilled tactically and they have solid mid round calling.

Mmm no. The team already has an IMMENSE amount of protocols and plans put into place by gla1ve and he has the best coach in the world to help make gameplans while gla1ve was absent.
Its unfair to consider a player filling in a role on an established team.
Had they went out last you wouldnt be saying hes one of the worst IGLs. You'd just say "oh well, not the real roster"

I dont think its fair to judge a player who is filling in as an IGL on one of the most tactically sound teams in the world. Nor to judge them off of two tournaments and compare them to an IGL who has been playing the whole year. Nor to judge them solely by results and not consider the quality of teammates.

I disagree with aleksib on S tier. He may have tier S ability but not the achievements. You could leave gla1ve alone on S tier and that would be fine. Golden is also an A-tier IGL minimum.
