Mood swings?
girL |
Finland RussianGirls
Do any of you get mood swings? Sometimes I will feel so down and just think what's the point in anything and next moment, like now, I am very happy, really excited for everything in the world. Life is great.

Yes, get depressive episodes that last for weeks at a time then return to normal, then they return again later on if triggered by certain things also when my sister is around

she's older and the favorite child, got away with everything, if she was picking on me I'd get blamed for it, she would snitch on me while I had her back, she was horrible with trust, backstabbed me a plethora of times, would constantly berate me way stronger than her but not allowed to hit women back anyway regardless plus my family is super traditionalist so she was really spoiled

Sometimes it's not about not getting hit, it's about not having to sit through the lectures and knowing you can't change their mind regardless, so why bother? Asian parents are stubborn af and you can rarely talk sense to them, since they always go by the ideology that they're always right since they're the parent

carzy, what a price to pay for standing tall👌😣
2020-10-28 11:25
So what? Stand up for myself then what? I still lived with them, we were still in the same house, my parents are incredibly strict, would've just got way worse. My sister was the rebellious one of the family and she just became a total brat and piece of shit human being, I just learned to become unproblematic and avoid conflict throughout life. It's easier and ya waste way less time arguing, fighting about shit is way too much of a pain in the ass and most of the time because of predetermined reasons you won't win anyway so why try.

Yep, except my mood swings seem to primarily be jumping from absolute unconsolable rage to pondering the existence of life and whether any of this matters. Rarely do I have lasting moments of joy nowadays.

I often have philosophical thoughts like that. Everyone tells me I am weird for it, but I think it makes sense to take a step back from reality and questions what we are doing here xd

When I slept 3-4 hours a night there were a few things that could make me angry quickly, but now I have a healthy diet and consistent 7-10 hours of sleep.

Like other people have said, its important to always have a clear line in life that you follow. Visions to work towards, a job that you go to every day and enjoy, every day routines like working out, going out for a run, eating at roughly the same hours every day, dont eat small meals throughout the entire day, eat 3 big meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Go to sleep at roughly the same hour every day and get up at roughly the same hour throughout the week, with an exception for the weekend. Dont jerk off. Dont watch porn. Dont hang around social media too much. Go outside even though you are not doing anything specifically. Just sitting inside, even if you're for example playing CS and having fun, is very stressful for your mental health. Lots of things can play a big role in mood swings and feeling down. I've had the same issues when I wasnt working. Work has saved my life basically. I am happy all the time basically, but if it wasnt for that clear line in my life I would have been nowhere near where I am today. Maybe some of this can help you.

Of course, it's a fuck load of dopamine and serotonin release, if you abuse it your body and mind will be out of whack.

I don’t think that’s necessarily ”mood swings”. That means everyone has them, but real mood swings are way worse.

just acknowledge that "ok im going through a mood swing". Just acknowledging it makes your life a lot easier. When I go through depression episodes I just tell myself "ok im going through an episode and i'll feel better tomorrow or a week from now".

I feel the same situation sometimes. It's nearly close to disappointed but no reason to disappointed. However, the condition naturally goes away after two-three days. I don't know why ? But I cannot go for a consultation since it doesn't exist for a longtime.

miro.medium.com/max/1080/1*ieAJuyRI3-iOV.. Here's a chart of emotions. Have a glance, and you should quickly notice that most of them are negative. In fact, only about a fifth of all of them are straight-up positive, while a small part is gray area: not positive or negative per sē. Some would say the limbic system, which is responsible for overseeing the way emotions work in our brain/body, is a remnant of times old: when emotive reactions could make the difference between survival and death or whatever. Most of it is just hormones and chemicals being released to create an emotional state. I post this to help you get more knowledge about what happens inside you when these scenarios unfold. The more you understand what is happening, the more you can manage.
