"SMART ACCESS MEMORY "allows the CPU to address the full amount of memory in the graphics, adding additional performance". it will only be available to users that have a gen 3 CPU, 500 series board (b550 x570) and an RX 6000 series GPU" i feel like that thing is a big move towards greater game optimizations (with time not now obviously, every great technology needs maturing 1st before being fully efficient) as PCs will be closer to consoles architecture (with the CPU being able directly access the VRAM)
