corona and unemployment!
Austria Angelo_Merte
from 8 million people, there is a chance 2 million will be unenmployed with the next and coming lockdown. is this really worth it for max 1200 dead people that would maybe even die in the next 1 -2 years even without corona?
2020-10-31 16:13

if u are well educated in a relevant field u wont be unemployed imo

Not all specialist fields can work from home. At that point you can potentially lose your source of income. While you won't be unemployed, it's still a problem.
2020-10-31 16:35
So basicly non-uni people should just die of starvation?

if you aren't attending university there is probably a reason for it. If you didn't work hard enough in your early life then there should be consequences for it, because there are people that did capitalize upon that time to work hard, study hard, and secure a well versed education, so that their future would be much more secure Not everyone can be well provided in life, it makes sense that those that aren't well prepared will be less rewarded for their complacency

Stop talking like an anime MC kid , step out of your basement and see that not everyone has equal opportunity to grow, not everyone is built with same intelligence. Not everyone has same mental fortitude.

u sound rly pathetic saying that man really, stop playing the victim and stop acting like the world is against you. Anyone can do anything if they try, it has never been an issue for me so its not an issue for you. Everyone can surmount an equal opportunity to grow, change your environment if you think its inhibiting you. Everyone can sustain the samea mount of intelligence with time invested, intelligence isnt anything more than how much you understand what you're doing. Everyone is born equal, everyone can achieve the same amount, that is just how life is. Those that work harder will achieve more, so if you didn't work as hard as me or anyone else you don't deserve anything for your lack of effort lmao You don't need an "anime MC kid" to tell you that, it's just how life works. Really think about everything around you and comprehend why people are successful. Ultimately, nobody earns anything by blaming others. Better yourself or stop complaining

Looks like motivational youtubers that grew up in a >15K$/month family You clearly don't know what's happening for lower class right? I know it's hard to imagine when your dad comes back with 15k/month, but you should definitely look at it
2020-11-01 14:52

actually my family was really poor and I did not have many opportunities academically, infrastructure was limited and my abilities were severely impaired by my environment. At age 13 with my shitty pc I started to trade on TF2 until two years later I had about a 20k euro inventory, which took months upon months of grinding to achieve. From there I bought ample equipment and materials to train myself for the future, buying a new pc that could newly run video games even, alongside school materials and access to studying websites that would help me hone my knowledge -- all of which my family could not afford. My mother was the only one working a minimum wage job, my dad was too depressed to do anything. The reason I feel disgusted by these people complaining that life is so terrible and will only exist to fuck them over is because they are exactly the same person that my father was, too busy playing the victim to snap out of their sardonic state and start re-establishing their form. Anyone can do anything, there is nothing but yourself that stops you

im saying that if you are educated you have a better chance of not being unemployed. Obviously there will always be people working minimum wage, because there will always be minimum wage jobs. But of the people demanding this limited field it makes sense that those who are more educated will secure these jobs, because they are more reliable in those positions, even if its just minimum wage

smart people arent unemployed period. maybe they lose their job, but they can easily apply to other places and get a job within 1 week of being laid off. but thats only if ur smart, so yes education does affect employment.

So ur telling me, for example in 2 weeks the whole system CAPIRALISM is breaking down, the whole economy of the world is breaking down, u will not be unemployed when ur smart? maybn when ur self employed but even then u will most likely go brankrupt. why u think people have jobs? cuz they smart or cuz they are benefitting the company to make more money and fuel capitalism so that company doesn't die out.

not at all. alot of tech companies are actually thriving. Amazon broke sales estimates by a large margin. Most tech CEO's have increased their wealth this year by more than 20% due to the movement online. Its only stuff like supermarkets/etc. that require in person visits being affected.

What makes amazon great in the end? It's not Jeff or anyone working at the top. Its the guys that do hard labour in a factory or what you would call LOW value jobs for minimum wage. if the ecconomy and the system was crashing and no one would make money anymore. this big tech companies are the first to just shut down and jeff will piss off with all his billions invested in gold or other shit onto his own island and probably come back once robots and drone delivery is fully developed.

I agree to ur first point, but then again, low value jobs are there to be replaced. Anyone can do it, u can do it, i can do it, they are easily replacable. Amazon is a logistical marvel in the sense that products can be delivered in 1-2 days max. It only requires low value workers to fill in the puzzle, of which there will be hundreds of millions people willing to do, so its not the people but management in amazon that is great. big tech wont shut down anytime soon.
2020-10-31 16:52
literaly retail and all unskilled labour jobs are the most stable income atm because non essential businesses are closing and/or going remote and these are the businesses that are shutting down the most, not the retailers, so i dont really know where u are coming from with this missinformation. Unskilled labour is in the highest demand on the job market atm.

Maybe they can be done by anyone but to get to do it like he does may take couple of months or even years of experience.
