I never finish single player games
 |

Anyone else in the same boat? I just get bored to every single player game long before I finish it. I think Witcher 3 and Mass Effect 2 are the last games I have finished. And yes, I have GTA 5 and RDR 2 and all the other great games, not finished.

Single player games were fun 15 years ago. Playing online is just 10x more fun quite frankly.

Yea I think I read some statistics from game developers. It's not a big percentage that actually finish games. So that is why developers really concentrate on the opening hours, those are the only ones everyone plays. For example Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was developed for the first hours which were great. (I never finished it lol)

One if the best games ever, I want a new of those.
2020-11-01 17:01
Not uncommon. Many games go from interesting to just repetitive after a while, so don't feel bad. With some titles one can breath new life into them with mods, for me there is even a few games I have completed more than once due to mods. Examples are Dues Ex and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
2020-10-31 20:55
i dont even start them
2020-10-31 20:57
Stay away from Ubisoft/EA games, once they launch a successful title, they copy-paste its content on its sequels. I recommend Yakuza 0, everything about this game is so fresh compared to the same formula that western games uses to exhaustion. Also play some indie games, like Hollow Knight, Bug Fables, A Short Hike, etc

I might try it! It's only 20 bucks.. I want something fresh, and not repetitive AAA shit.
2020-11-02 19:09
I mainly play singleplayer games. the only online games i play are CS:GO and R6. If you want something reletively short i'd recommend Doom 2016. It's reletively short with an avarage main story line of 11 hours.

Yeah, I rarely go all the way too, the game should be really good and I should have nothing better to do.
2020-11-01 17:10
far cry 3 the only game I've played several times
2020-11-01 17:11
Indie games are always best. Adventure/exlploration/puzzle games are the best mens, like The Talos Principle or small things like The Stanley Parable

Nope. Each year there is at least 1 exceptional game. This year it was Doom Eternal. Outside of it, I also finished Serious Sam 4 and about to finish Amnesia:Rebirth. Also playing the new Sekiro gauntlet stuff. Plenty of good games coming up as well. It's normal that you think that way since most of the people here just play a single 2012 game and think that's the only game that matters, but believe me, you guys are the minority. I moved on from CSGO and never looked back. Got boring very fast.
2020-11-01 17:18
I have perhaps over 70 games in my library that I paid $40-$60 for and literally didn't touch again after 1-3 hours of gametime. I feel you man, I blame being older (29) and having lost my childish curiosity.

Same here. Incredible library of AAA games, and I never play them. Getting old sucks sometimes. More money, but less passion for anything really. I also like to code small games in my spare time, but even that passion is slowly dying.
2020-11-02 19:17
they are boring af cuz u dont do anything its like watching a (bad) movie where u press some buttons and its not competitive and not challenging. ofc there are exceptions
