If Biden wins, I am fairly confident you wont have another republican president for the next 20+ years. Democrats try to win elections by increasing immigration to swing states. The longer time goes on and the laxer immigration laws are, the less likely it is swing states will go republican and therefore elections will be incredibly unlikely to be won by the GOP.

idk, they are going to get 4 years under Biden. Senate majority remains Republican, and in the House they lost key seats which they flipped in 2018 plus failed to flip weak republican seats (Dems still hold majority in the House of reps, but barely so).
Let's be realistic here, Biden can't run in 4 years. He will be 82 and he is already showing clear signs of Alzheimers. He will not achieve much in the next 4 years, as the senate will block him. The Republicans will have a field day with it on the next elections, especially if the economy sinks. Republicans always have someone to blame, even when they have the presidency (Nancy Pelosi), the democrats don't. Who will they blame in 4 years? If they are smart, they will make Mitch McConnell to look like the devil himself. But yeah, democrats (as a party) aren't very smart.

Manufacturing jobs are not coming back in the traditional sense, regardless of who sits in the oval office.
Manufacturing is moving back to developed countries simply because it's becoming cheaper to get robots to do these jobs than using manual labor in developing countries

California was "ruined" by liberalism yet is the state with the largest population and largest GDP in the country by some distance.
Red bible belt state should consider themselves lucky there are blue states "ruined" by liberalism subsidizing them. California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, etc. pay the federal government more in taxes than they receive in return. While places like Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia, etc. depend on federal aid and contribute to the deficit.
If this country broke up into two, Red US vs Blue US it's immediately obvious who would struggle more to keep the lights on.

There are more homeless are in Cali because it's simply easier to be homeless in Cali. Better weather (you don't want to be homeless in Alaskan winter) and there is better welfare. Many of the homeless who now live in Cali come from all over the country, sometimes given a one-way bus ticket by municipalities who don't want them there.

If there wasn't support for them, they'd leave. I live in a smaller liberal city and yet it's packed with homeless because of the welfare programs available. They actually travel from other cities to be here and to get the government assistance. Neighboring cities have even gotten in trouble for buying one way tickets for their homeless to come here.

I'm not sure what a solution would look like but ideally I'd want a society that rewards good behavior rather than bad. There is no reason for these people to do any better as is. They get more assistance than the people working who can barely keep their heads above water.
That is simply an unfair comparison because obviously coastal states have it a lot easier to im and export goods and therefore are a lot more profitable.
Let's say that republican policies truly are bad for the economy, even if Wyoming voted Dems for the next 50 years and New York GOP, there is no way in hell, that they would surpass New York.

Coastal states, aka urban areas have many minorities who have been patronized by the Democratic Party for years, making them think that they are the only option for them, that is already a huge advantage.
I really do not know why the white people there lean so heavily towards the Dems. But I do know that voting Democratic for multiple decades has turned Chicago and Detroit into fucking slums.

Homelessness isnt from Cali, its from other states. They move/are sent to Cali cause Cali is actually capable of supporting them.

You have a fundamental lack of understand of how the economy works. The reason so many people want to live in Cali is the infrastructure which is funded by taxes, which is why people make business there in the 1st place.

If republicans campaigned all across the country they could win the popular vote imo. Right now theres no incentive to vote in california and also no incentive to vote in alabama because people know beforehand which party wins those states.

For starters you are ignoring that due to the system with electoral votes lots of primarily republican states carry more wight per voter than mostly democratic states, just look at who won the popular vote in 2016 and also the number right - Biden has millions more that voted for him and it doesn't matter because small states has more electoral votes than they should.

The republican party has to shift away from trump. Hes a divisive figure and cant keep on winning states like florida, arizona and texas if hes so anti immigration. Im hoping they become more inclusive towards minorities and more open to immigration and still have low taxes, small government and fiscal responsibility, which there was a lack of under trump. The electoral college is why they can continue to win and still make it competitive. This plus two key facts: gerrymandering and voter surpression in key states.
