in 2012-2014 (maybe 2015 as well) it was SteelSeries. SteelSeries had better mice options back in the day, they had a lot of models unlike today, they still have lots of mice models but they're not that good for tier 1 CS, except some of the Rival and Sensei

I love my Rival 310 but the clicks don't work properly if you don't push it down evenly so I use my G305 for CS

I use Rival 310 as well :D very good mouse for big hands. i don't know you'll do this but i wanted to give a suggestion. you can replace the clicks by buying "Omron Mouse Switches" from aliexpress, or you can but it from Canada if they sell those switches. I think this is the switch name and model: Omron D2F-01F It's pretty cheap. You can also watch the tutorial on youtube, by searching " Steelseries Rival 310 mouse switch replace/fix" if you don't know how to replace the switches. i think tutorial videos of other Steelseries mice will help too. It's very bad and shame that users had to fix this "mouse click issue" that SteelSeries and other gaming mice has. When I bought this mice 2.5 years ago, after using it for like 3 months, double click issue happened at left click. I fixed this is by clicking hardly to the left click for like 1 or 2 times and since then, i didn't encountered any problems with the left click or other clicks, i know, this fix is very, very absurd :D I never encountered any problems with mouse clicks when i was using regular, cheap office mice unlike gaming mice and the irony is, i was using Rival 310 very gently unlike the cheap office mice, i wasn't using the office mice that gently and still office mice were very durable and i used them for years but A4 Tech X710-BK wasn't like that, it was a gaming mice and it was very durable, i used it for 6 years, and i bought it as "used", it served me very well for a very cheap price, it was less than 10 dollars i believe. But I still can't believe that quality of the clicks are trash on gaming mice. I hope this essay helped you!

haha yeah I'm sure I could replace the switches if I really wanted to. I'll probably just keep using my G305 and wait for steelseries to hopefully one day make a new Rival mouse with the same shape, maybe like 70 grams, maybe wireless. Still use my RIval 310 in most other games because it doesn't usually matter if it "unclicks" for a moment by itself as I hold the left mouse button down.

Maybe Logitech G Pro wireless these days, but that’s mostly thanks to sponsors

it's objectively the best mouse you can buy unless the Viper Ultimate fits your hand better
2020-11-11 08:55
I've had it for a while now and it's incredible. The battery life is unbelievable
2020-11-11 18:03
It's still zowie by a huge margin i think. I have zowie too and I love it so much! Would buy again.

no the A just means old model and B in the new one, EC1* is for big hands, EC2 is for medium/smaller hands
2020-11-10 23:02
they are the same. The ec1 is bigger than the ec2.
2020-11-10 23:30
A is older model why B is smaller model. And EC1's are for bigger hands.
2020-11-11 09:05
just dont buy ec2-a and ec1-a. they have old sensor that can spin out and sometimes when you press mouse1 it will use scrollwheel.

youtube.com/watch?v=zbQv6P-oh-0 zowies old mice use 3310 sensor. also he should just get one of the newer ones if he wanted one. no reason to buy old stuff.

EC1-A is large, EC2-A is smaller but they're both for right handed people. I'm using FK1, it's mid size and it's symmetric (not right handed but neutral) and it's perfect for me. I tried EC1-A and it was a bit too big for my hand.

It all depend on what your grip and hand size is. Ofc recommendstions are fine but you should go to rocketjumpninja ( YouTuber) his website. Hé has a caclulator to find your best mouse with your hand size and grip, make sure to watch the instruction video to this calculator while filling in everything.

G pro wireless is great mens, especially for former Zowie FK or Steelseries Sensei users. EC2's lead increases if you also count EC1 users

More pros use logiteh gpro wireless and zowie mice as I can see. But some say that the best mouse at the moment is the razer viper ultimate.

a lot use ec2-b/fk whatever. Mostly zowie and GPW/Razer's wireless equivalent. I own both an ec2-b divina and GPW. Zowie is better for shape and comfort 1000%, but wires are gross. GPW hurt my hand for the first 2 weeks but it's fine now. I'd still go back to zowie if they figured out wireless. For now i'd recommend gpw
