your hs will improve within a week but flicking is really tough, i took a break for a month and then tried niko sens i was easily getting hs kills than before but i couldnt spray that good and could not flick(with rifles). So its your wish just try both maybe in Aim botzz for 3 or 4 days

I m really amused at the low sens players and how they dont get tired of having to move their arm so frequently

Well, i always went for f0rest style since 1.6. 3.5 and 400 dpi. It's better for cleaning angles and flicking without having a bone displacement. Although i found it too fast and lowered it to 2.8 with time.

Control such a high sensitivity is not easy at all ... In fact, in my experience if you are having difficult with short flicks then it means that is not a proper sensitivity for you ... or at leat you will need to practice a lot. Precision is more important that large flicks or 180 degrees flicks.

1.55 at 400 is is def usable, not too low at all as long as you are comfortable using your entire arm. Sometimes my shoulder will even ache after a long time DM. But my HS%, flicks, and spray are all super smooth. Even 180's are not hard unless you have to do 2 or 3 back to back.

Most def usable...if you have a large mousepad and you use your entire arm its a solid sens (on 400). From my personal experience (played all the way from 1.1-2.5@400) the realm of 1.4 and below is starting to be problematic in the long run for your arm/shoulder, especially if you dm a lot.

Anyone who uses a low sens does not have the dexterity to properly play FPS games on PC. Messages like this make me realize how low the sensitivity standards are in CS: GO. If I'm not mistaken, the average hip-fire sens in CS: GO is somewhere around 2.2 400 DPI, and that's already over 40cm/360. Guys like Bymas are said to play on high sens when their sens is actually around 35cm/360, which is actually low/average by universal standards. In other games, you see people playing the "clicking" style with sensitivities around 30cm/360 on average, which is already low enough for certain games. It's insane how low the average sens is in CS: GO.

Yeah, I play at 2.9 400dpi (35cm/360) and that is already a bit low for Quake and I need to move my mouse a lot if I don't want to rely on acceleration. It's still the sens that's very comfortable to me though and thankfully it's not too high for cs. F0rest said he played at 3.5 - 400 dpi, because of Quake III Arena and even that sensitivity isn't high for Quake standards.
2020-11-11 18:08

Almost the same here, I play 1.3 on 800DPI which is pretty similar. But holy macaroni, I absolutely can't play tracking based weapons on Quake with that sens and a cloth mousepad, unless the guy I'm facing is terrible at strafing and doesn't move around me too much. Same deal in games like Hyperscapes. It makes playing Revolver a breeze, but there's no way you properly track a fast moving target unless you're an aim god. I'm not bad, but not a god either, Q.E.D

Yeah, it's tough, you do need to adapt at moving your mouse a lot, across the whole mousepad, which you don't do much on cs with that sens. But it is possible. Training tracking in Kovaak helps. There are a few Quake pros that play with even lower sens, like Strenx who basically play with the same sensitivity as Niko (69cm/360). But they're the minority.
2020-11-11 18:15

I do train on Kovaak's, according to Sparky benchmarks I'm diamond. At this point, I really struggle to go any higher because of my mousepad. I play on a HyperX Fury S, and the thing got way too grippy in the area where I drag my mouse around. There's easily a 2:1 friction ratio between this area of my mousepad and the rest. Since it feels like I'm dragging my mouse through mud, being smooth and consistent in fast tracking scenarios with verticality like Air is ridiculously harder than it should be. On the counterpart, it makes your aim really snappy because of the excess of force you put into your arm to move your mouse, but it's only the looks. I'm considering to buy a full glass mousepad and ceramic mouse feet to work on that, the excess of grip has become way too annoying.

I play on it as well (yes flair checks out) and at first it felt a bit weird. Especially large mouse movements and flicking felt really uncomfortable to do, but after playing FFA DM and practicing, it feels natural and smooth. And besides there are players who use even lower sensitivities (MICHU, blameF, GuardiaN, RpK, STYKO, Nivera, Heroic niko etc...).

It's just personal preference and depends on quite a lot of things. What mouse and mousepad are you using? Are you a wrist or arm aimer? Which one feels more comfortable to you? I would definitely give it a try to see if you like it, but don't force it. I tried NiKo's sensitivity since I also use my whole arm while aiming, so I decided to give it a try and I liked it. Also what sensitivity and DPI are you using at the moment?

Because CSGO is a clicktiming type of game. There's nearly no verticality, very little time for you to kill your enemy, you don't need to track fast opponents and you just hold tight angles, while relying mostly on reaction time, utility usage and game sense. He'd be destroyed in Quake though. There's a reason the best aimers in the world play with much higher sensitivities than most csgo pros.
2020-11-11 18:04

I think you can adapt to 2 different sensitivies.
2020-11-11 20:16
1 reply
You definitely can, but you need a lot more time, so you can learn how to aim with your arm, wrist and fingers properly. For that the recommended is that you play with very high sensitivities -25cm/360, mid sens 35cm/360 and low sens +50cm/360 for a few months each. The best aimers in Kovaak basically did that, which is why they can switch to any sens and still score very high. But usually you'd be better investing that time into learning the game you're playing and developing game sense, strats, play style, etc and sticking to one sensitivity. Unless you just want to play aim trainers.

A lot of people lower their zoom sens at round 0.81 for this reason : reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43.. TL;DR, it recreates a 1:1 ratio relative to your FOV next to the center of your screen. Since you don't spend your time flicking, it can be a good option if you're a passive awper. It's usually the case when you play 400DPI 1.55 since that's low as fuck.

I use that sense and you can do flicks and everything normal. If you try it for a month or something you'll see is not that low. It's obviously harder to do some 180 shots, but is doable and you need to lift your mouse more than normal but you can tap much easier, so it's a lot better on long range. The only downside to me is that if someone appears like jumping from a roof to your side or something without expecting it, and you're close to keyboard sometimes it's hard to rotate and it makes you look a bit retard.
2020-11-11 18:21
Meanwhile I can't even play with 400 dpi. I play on 1600 DPI and 1.80 sens. This Is like more than woxic xD
2020-11-11 18:21
thats not so low, i play 1.2 400 dpi
2020-11-11 18:28
use woxic sens
2020-11-11 18:30
depends on, when you flick, if you only move the wrist or the forearm. I play 3.09/3.15 sens & 400 DPI = 1236/1260 eDPI. Because I use my wrist to aim.

I played with his sens for a few months and honestly I was so Much better at aiming. Felt more precise. Only reason I swapped is it is super hard to 180. I think he might have a dpi bind but idk

I play 1.6 400 and yeah it's hard to 180 but I think the aim benefit and smooth xhair placement is more important

Yeah but I also enjoy using higher sens in other games so I just swapped and I got used to it and it’s close to the same
2020-11-20 17:53
I am playing with 1600dpi 1.00 ingame. I would never want to play sens low as him, its not fun imo. faceit lvl 10 btw
2020-11-11 18:55
low? i mean, im playing on like 0.75 400dpi 6/11 windows rawinput 0, before that i was playing on 1.7 400dpi 4/11 windows rawinput 0 so yea his 1.35 and 1.5~atm isn't really low

anyways, how can i convert the 1.7 sens, 400dpi, 4/11 windows, 0 rawinput to be the same but on 6/11 windows? is there any site to do that?
2020-11-11 19:04
I too play with his config. I'd say my aim , awp and crosshair placement really improved, its tough to 180 but it works soon or later. He actually increased the sensitivity probably a couple years ago.

Yes he is dumb , thats just placebo effect , nothing is changing , i tried many res , they just feel a little different because of the aspect ratio (streched feels faster than blackbars just like 4-3 and 16-9) but its still the same shit.

niko plays with the smartest sens just like myself. he's probably able to do exactly 180 degree turn on his mousepad, which is highest iq way to configure ur sens

MICHU has .47 for 800DPI LUL
2020-11-11 19:54
For me Jame is like Neymar, both are good players but with an unattractive mindset. Unless you root for him you can't simply approve of his bait and save style. It brings wins to the table as long as teams don't find the problem, there will always be someone sent in a bad angle to get information. Killing one or two will automatically send him into save mode. But still, he is one hell of a solid awper.
2020-11-11 20:14
1.5 not even low
2020-11-11 20:18
Its not that low. There are a lot of player with lower sensitivity. For example: BlameF, RpK. boombel,..
2020-11-11 21:11
He has +right +left binds. so when he flick he will move his mouse just a little + bind

2020-11-12 08:25
my sens and DPI is lower than his
2020-11-12 08:31
NiKo just has insane crosshair placement, the vast majority of the time his aim isn't actually that impressive he just always has his crosshair in the right place, and you can tell what he's thinking just by looking where he's aiming because of it

yeah I hate how much people say like zywoo and niko have insane aim, their aim isn't that insane for a pro player and aren't even close to the level of s1mple

Well it is choice man for me I even play lower You just need to find the right point for yourself so Niko did it and I think he is good with it. Michu has even lower and even Lekro they are pros man they are use to it for hours. But I even play at lower sens 0.895 400DPI spraying and tappin plus awpin is really ez for me but flicking with rifle and awp needs a lot of time to get used to it. Preferance babe ^^ laters m8
2020-11-12 22:34
I'm using 0.7 dpi at 800dpi, which is a bit lower than NiKo's sens. It's cool, however it does sacrifice my movement a bit, as I can't do sick movement and turn around smoothly.

dpi and sensitivty don't really matter, you could play at 50 dpi and 16 sens and it would feel basically the same. It is edpi that matters

620 is not even that low of an edpi. I play at 720 which is a normal one. The most used edpi is 800 iirc.

I actually played with 1.35 @ 400 for like 2 years, his old sens btw. I can say you are becomming much more constistent. And the negative aspect of harder flicking (and arm-breaking 180's) actually transforms to positive of you doing less dumb mistakes. You just can't get out of an angle and do crazy 180, so you usually better think before peeking an angle.
2020-11-20 09:08
i use 1.45 and everything above 1.65 feels too quick (tried to use 1.8 for half a year)

But they won't ever do it so what's the point of your argument?
2020-11-20 12:57
lower sens = better aim
2020-11-24 09:38
Niko uses that sens to make long range gunfights easier for him. If he uses a sensitivity of 750+ EDPI, he will become inconsistent in gunfights even if he adapts to it.
