Valhalla - on the highest combat difficulty it looks like Dark Souls 3, especially during boss fights with stamina bar and healing with potions. What else? Enjoyable story and raiding villages with your crew.

Sadly the Assassins creed games lost their way a bit. The first games where so much more than anything else. sort of change everything in gaming. And then others caught up. but they still made good games, good stories linked to real stuff. Lately they have went full out and gone away from the reality in it, and just place fantasy games in a "real" setting. Thats a shame I think. ( I get its always been fantasy, but deeply linked with history ) now they just change history to their liking to form around the game rather than the game forming around history. They also added a lot of things a repeat stuff to angle a online part of it, and a micro payment to it.. if you dont care about any of that. assassins creed games are well made, and very good looking. and there is a lot to do in them. also means its not just a sunday time game its big, and takes time. But its not what it used to be. its no longer about making cutting edge games but just another AAA release.

Odyssey is great, same for Origins, but Odyssey>Origins.

Valhalla is best -Challenging fight system on hardest difficulty, boss fights in Asgard are very difficult -Great story with kings assassination's and more -World events are similar with RDR2 quests and very fun to play

supposedly Valhalla is a massive disappointment, personally I'm waiting for either a steam release or a GOTY edition for 30 bucks. AC games have never been worth 60 dollars for me ever since Brotherhood. Odyssey was fun tho, got that one in a steam sale GOTY edition for 30 bucks like a half year after release. Didn't like Origins at all though, was boring, repetitive and the story and setting didn't interest me.

Odyssey and Origins were great, especially Odyssey imo. I really loved it. I haven't tried Valhalla yet but it looks very promising. Most people flaming the new ACs haven't even played it and are dumb sheeps following the Ubisoft bashing trend or old school players in a "iT wAs bEtTer whEn I wAS a KiD gneuuu"

Played all 3 if you care most about story pick Vallhalla or Origins (Depending on if you like Vikings vs Egyptian world). If story not so important and you want to play for like 200 hours go for Oddysey with Greek theme all 3 games are fine

Play Origins, it's a much smaller game than Odyssey and not as bloated. Also give AC Unity a try, aside from the bugs it's a pretty good game, the movement in that game is the best out of any AC game and the combat is also different and fun.

I only played odyssey but i really loved it. The game is just so good and nice to play. Literally the only flaw is that they didnt put as much effort into side missions.

odyssey by far but the grind can be boring sometimes,like when you get the mission to go for sparta you have to grind almost 10 levels, but to me 1-AC 2 2-AC Black flag + Rogue(basically a standalone sequel for Black flag) 3-Odyssey(which i'm playing rn but it's very good,i've just reached sparta tho)
