1. s1mple - Simple has once again torn up the csgo scene, with, so far, a 1.27 rating against Top 20 opponents. The only reason he is above zywoo is because vitality have not won anything this year, whereas Navi won Katowice at the start of the year.
2. Zyw0o - Zywoo has been up there with simple for the entire year, being top two all year round. He would be number 1 in my list if he had any silverware for this year.
3. NiKo - Even while IGLing. NiKo has posted the third best stats all year around, and now he is with G2, where he doesnt need to IGL. His stats are only going to rise even more. I think this position has to be fixated for him.
4. device - Once again, posting insane stats all year round and staying with an Astralis team who has had roster changes due to medical leave on players. He has not won as many tournaments as you would expect this year, but is still being one of the most impactful players in the world on the best team of all time.
5. Ropz - How else would i put this. Ropz has kept mouz in the top 30 teams this entire year whilst playing the b site on mot ct maps.
6. Elige - During a bad year, for Liquid's standards, elige has once again been that player who is always there to drop 25 frags a game. He is the solo carry of Liquid when NaF doesnt perform and is the best NA player of all time.
7. BlameF- Blame has been carrying Complexity whilst being the IGL throughout this entire year, even winning a big tournament against Vitality. Without Blame complexity would not be anywhere near the team they are today.
8. Electronic - Recently, his performances have fallen off, but throughout the rest of the year, especially at the start, electronic was one of the best players. From NaVi's Katowice run he had incredible showings and has mostly remained consistent all year.
9. huNter - This guy has been G2's shining light throughout this entire year. In G2s rough patch and in their highest highs hunter would always be seen top of the leader board without baiting his entire team.
10. Magisk - IGLing for most of the year for astralis, whilst also being their second joint highest rated player beside dupreeh is an achievement. He has been consistent all year round and is always so reliable for astralis.
11. Syrson - What an amazing addition sysron has been for BIG. He has been their highest rated player this year, whilst keeping his team in the top 5 teams for a lot of the year, from being ranked 20 or below. Practically solo carrying BIG to a tournament.
12. NaF - The only other player apart from Elige who has been able to click on people this year. NaF being moved to the primary AWPing role hasnt stopped him from fragging and keeping Liquid as a top team.
13. Mantuu - Where the fuck did mantuu come from? He has carried OG along with Valde to number 6 in the world, even reaching a final which they lost against a FaZe team about to crumble.
14. Stavn - stavn, an 18 year old kid who came out of nowhere, has lead Heroic to be a top 3 team for most of the year, even winning ESL cologne, once again against Vitality. He has been Heroic's go to fragger for the entire year and is a huge part to his teams success.
15. Xantares - This is expected, the biggest onliner of all time being in the only top 20 list based off of mostly online cs. Regardless, he has been putting up monster stats for BIG and showing why he is in so many highlight reels.
16. Brollan - Kept Fnatic as a pretty good team throughout the year. His stats show why he is one of the most exciting young talents, and he could easy break into the top 10 next year is Fnatic get their shit together and kick JW.
17. Nexa - Being the IGL of G2 and a consistent top fragger is enough to get you into this list, which is why Nexa is here. Nexa has lead G2 to multiple finals earlier in the year, but has not won anything, which is why he is not higher rater.
18. dupreeh - Dupreeh has retained monster stats whilst seeing the roster moves that astralis have made throughout the year to compensate for Xyp9x and Glaives medical leave. He had won a big tournament in a reverse sweep against NaVi and thats enough to get him on the list.
19. Broky - The second best player this year on Faze, behind Niko. But lets be honest, only 2 players would be better than Niko on that team. Broky has evolved into a Device style awper and is using it very successfully, being one of Faze's most important players and an extremely good clutcher.
20. yuurih - It was either him of Kscerato, but ive gone with yuurih. Though this is NA cs were talking about, him and his team have grown to become the most threatening team in NA, playing a CS style that only reminds us of Fnatic back in the day, being the most important piece to Furia's puzzle.
