“NA CS IS A JOKE”

So many malding bettors kekw It’s nice to see our tier 2 scene finally stand up and take over the scene, refreshing to see some new teams in the finals This is proof that NA cs isn’t dead and that we’re simply going through a cleansing phase, we’re finally gonna see some new talent on the scene. One of the biggest problems with NA cs is that it’s more of a friendship circle and each roster shuffle just simply recycles players. Glad to see new teams on the radar, 2021 we finna dominate

So because T55555555 teams beat your best t1 teams that can't even compete against t2-t3 EU teams is actually a good thing and prove that NA cs isn't dead ? Nice logic

"that can't even compete against t2-t3 EU teams" all regional bias aside, I can't wait for the online era to end so people like you would just shut the fuck up already. Liquid/EG hammered EU teams for close to 2 years at this point. Literaally just like how heroic is bashing eu teams in their skulls out of nowhere. They're fucking onliners.

Liquid was decent for 3 months when Astralis was in break lmao "wait for lan wait for lan" Last LANS Liquid got completly rekt 2-0 by every good EU teams and haven't done anything since may-june 2019 But good for you buddy, keep living in the past and deny how bad your scene is atm

They were great for 3 months, solid for around 10 months total mainly before their dominant short span (when Astralis was just cherrypicking tournaments and not attending a majority that Liquid attended), then fell of a cliff. EG was always an all or nothing team with no stratbook. If brehze was on a tear, with ethan and cerq doing allright EG was a threat. If brehze was off slightly, they got last place finishes. They never hammered any EU teams. It's hilarious watching people praise Stan as an igl, his teams never have a playbook. Theres never a plan b. If the plan A doesnt work, you see them hitting the wall until their skulls crack and they're outta there. NA hope lies within Liquid finding form again, I hope Moses can build the team up. But they need structural changes, getting stagnant with a lot of forced plays that ends up being costly mistakes.

Lmao dont you remember the start of online? Every team that lost to either of those teams would be made 46 threads about and were told to disband. Look at them now both heroic and big have been top1 and are consistently top 5.
2020-11-22 12:15
they were not descent, they were insanely good, actually im pretty sure peek liquid was the second best team in the history of csgo, and would have had an era just as big as astralis if astralis didnt exist

Wow nice edit lol you said "liquid was the second best team in the history of csgo" Also astralis did exist and they were getting fked up by liquid during their short run, liquid's rise and fall has nothing to do with astralis's inconsistency in the early part of 2019, they were really good for a ehile but after the player break liquid were worse thats it. Astralis being non existent isnt gonna help liquid have an era in any way and i could just say that fnc would have had a longer era if sk didnt exist and its not gonna matter Nip would have had a bigger streak if vp didnt exist, its not gonna matter either because they are just speculations and not history

Umm thanks for proving my point? Your original comment : liquid second best team in csgo history Now :"peek" liquid second best team in history of csgo You are forgetting the fact that liquid was good for only a really short time compared to teams like nip, fnc, astralis. How can you compare 3 months of their peak to the different eras? So if a team plays as good as astralis for a month then peak of that team is as good as peak of astralis?
2020-11-22 02:17
3 replies
also their peek was not 3 months, they were literally destroying every team the whole year, and lost to astralis every single time at the finals. when im talking about peek liquid im not talking about peek in standings lmao. also writing peek doesnt change the statement at all? ofc im not talking about the current liquid lmao.

+1 bro respect for what you said. Liquid was only stopped by Astralis and when they went on their great run They were beating teams like peek Vitality peek ence and and Fnatic who were doing great as well.
2020-11-22 03:43
Something nobody notices because Blast and ibuypower were garbage tournaments was that aside from the katowice major, Liquid was top 2 in every event starting from January to the player break. Even if you only start from IEM Sydney, Liquid's dominant period was still longer than SK's, who people consider to have an era even though they didn't really do that much aside from win the majors which were within like 3 months of each other.

give me an argument to that statement then. prove to me that peek liquid isnt the second best team in history. You do realize if not for astralis, liquid would have had the insane era. Just go back and watch their vods, there was no team in history of csgo that played as well as liquid except for astralis ofc

Okay this is so stupid. The reason NA teams are shit now is because they cant practise VS EU teams. The practice they have is dog shit so they have fallen behind. Sure online may affect it but its not even close to as relevant of a reason. In the EU we have teams falling off sure but imagine if we had a tier 1 event where the final in EU was like Gambit vs fucking LDLC or something when Astralis, Big vitality ect are there. Thats the equivalent of NA cs right now

EU's tier 1 isn't strong it's literally the kids who used to be considered tier 2 onliners are now tier 1 because of online era and the strong LAN teams on EU tier 1 getting shitted on by tier 10 CIS teams (an example) online because online means nothing. RN teams like BiG, Heroic, OG extra are at tier 1 yet before online era these kids were irrelevant for majority of the prior years other than NBK obviously who is a legend compared to these online trash kids. Online CS is just bad.
2020-11-22 04:28

no nbk is getting bad at this due to age been following him since ldlc envyus 2015 days when fnatic used to rekt them and had a good rivalry but now the glory days gone.... for lan im pretty sure heroic willl stay top5 and for og they are super unstable team cant say anything yet

I'm saying the same thing happened in NA as in EU and CIS etc. the onliner tier 2 scene is now tier 1 because of online era, nothing is different, these teams which I mentioned shouldn't even be ranked but are at tier 1 rn, look at BiG the entire team is onliner as fuck, every player in that team who had LAN opportunities was fucking garbage and shit the bed but online they are gods? Online ERA needs to die.

NA CS disband. All NA teams move to Val
2020-11-22 02:20
This is either a joke/high quality bait, or you delusional. In no way does this show an improvement in NA CS, nor does it mean that there is potential in the lower NA tiers. This is a blatant display that top NA teams are deteriorating due to being confined to strictly the NA scene. Not only is there a drastic difference in skill level between the EU scene and the diminishing NA scene, but also the inability to diversify practices against different teams. While this can beneficial to the lower tier teams, as they are still constantly able to play teams that are better, those at the top have no choice but to play lesser teams. Not to completely discredit teams such as Triumph and Chaos, as they certainly have improved over the course of the online meta, but it is also met with a decline in the form of teams such as EG and Liquid. There was clear proof of this at BLAST Premier Fall, where Furia and EG (the clear top two NA teams by a drastic margin) were the first teams eliminated only managing to win only 1 map each. They were also the lowest rated teams at the event, with Furia having a team rating of 0.92, while EG mustered and additional 0.04 and ended with a rating of .96. NA CS is regressing back to the early-mid 2010s when they were a complete joke when trying to compete against EU. TL;DR: The NA skill floor isn't rising, but rather the skill ceiling is dropping.

You know, I was scrolling to see if someone would write exactly this and voila! Theres a reason players & teams left the scene in NA, which btw is unfortunate, but this type of decline could be seen from a mile away once the scene started to lose teams & active players. I think there will be nothing but decline from here on and out. Only way to save EG & Liquid would be for them to move to the more competitive EU scene, kinda like Complexity did when they re-built. With that said I think upsets COULD still happen once LANs make a come back, but EU scene is more active with more teams & tournaments going on & a higher skill cap. I think it will be tough for Liquid & EG to compete the longer this corona ERA drags on

2020-11-22 04:36
Lets be real NA cs is a joke. Our scene has only gotten worse over the last 1-2 years. Liquid was our only decent team, and they went to shit as soon as they decided to swap roles. The online era just destroyed what little they had left. Daps built NRG up as well but Botislaw and snake Turok destroyed it. Cs is dead in NA. It isn't promoted and our scene is only going to shrink more and more. Csgo isn't exactly a "new" game.

It's not like it's impossible for our scene to comeback just highly unlikely. Our two tier 1 teams have completely fallen off. It could just be the online era. Liquid was always notoriously shit online but I have no faith in Stewie as an igl. Eg had massively fallen off before online took over which is what happens every time Stan and Tarik destroy a team. I think our best hope is -stew -grim +junior +vanity. It's the only thing that I could see working.
