It's easy to understand, they're struggling on PRO CS, can't win any tournaments and make any decent prize money. Valorant comes as a good solution, every team is new to the game because the game is new, with their acquired 5v5 fps skills they'll have a little edge over the other Non CS Players. Here they will be the best and it will be possible to win games and tournaments. The best teams on Valorant will probably be full of pre/CS players that didn't have what it takes to win on CS. Like ScreaM. If the best aren't playing this game, they'll have a chance (win games/win prizes/win Money). This is the main reason. --> Because the game is worse.

I think it's very well known that cs rejects and failures (for the most part) is the valorant pro scene. I don't think it'll last as people who start with valorant become good will dominate the cs rejects. It seems more like a quick shot at glory imo

Once the younger more talented players begin to emerge a lot of the players such as HaZed, Cutler, shinobi etc. will go to coach positions or become analysists... Or streamers. We all know Riot will develop a very league type format, use big prize pools, etc etc. Eventually it'll grow and you'll see a ton of newer faces. A lot of cs 1.6 players didn't make it in cs go. But that has nothing to do with cs go being harder, they were just past their prime time. If you look at it the other way around cajunb fx was never a good 1.6 player but had great succes in both source and go.
