stew in sk is understandable, tarik in mibr is ok, xeppa in furia is the dumbest action I've ever seen, since the Brazilian community hate this guy, but the reason for this is probably the lack of talent in Brazil, that's why they call the North Americans, since speaking European is more difficult

ig the mibr guys responsible for this they wasted 1 complete not agreeing to they are shit ofc they were gods back in the day but sometimes you gotta try new talents its a trial and error situation . Thats how stewie got the chance in c9.

you are right, but it is difficult to find someone with enough experience here in brazil at the moment, what can be done is a long-term investment, between taking a Brazilian promise and developing it slowly, honestly, I don't know how the new mibr's line looked so strong right away, but overall I agree with you, trying things is always good

the main thing is that many, many, many people would stop watching the games now, the hate would be gigantic, you don’t know what would happen, I’m warning you, if the xeppaa or the leaf go to the furia, there will be vampetaço and unfortunately it will not be little you can't play the same way when you have a lot of people giving you up

you can think about it, but you are forgetting how a crowd is needed in the cs, do you remember the old mibr? they couldn’t beat a tier 2 team but still received dozens of invitations because of the crowd. besides, can you play freely with a guy cursing you? now imagine if more than half of your "fans" do that

2020-11-23 06:37
This is why you dont play in EU one tourney affected them so much :(
2020-11-23 06:41
damn so if i got this right, MiBR came to EU, got absolutely obliterated, disbanded. FURIA came to EU, got absolutely obliterated, disbanded. EU just made two of the biggest BR teams evaporate within a matter of months. wtf.

fuck man NA CS needs to make a comeback. i love EU CS but just being in NA, i want to see our scene progress but watching the pro league so much, there's a clear difference in the level of quality that we see in NA vs EU. I desperately want the Team Liquid from 2019 to come back and show that dominance again. That Astralis vs Liquid rivalry was unmatched! mostly because it was a continental battle unlike FaZe vs Fnatic

yeah you're definitely right. i just wanna see LAN again. i think teams like Liquid and EG will make a big comeback on LAN. when they play now, it just feels like they're not motivated at all

agreed, NA playstyle just isnt comfortable online it feels very bottlenecked, all we can do is hope for the LANs to jolt CS back to its former shape
2020-11-24 01:40

yeah all the people saying NA CS is dead are kinda stretching it. NA CS just hasn't had a chance to show itself since the pandemic. they've just been playing each other over and over again. even by pure chance, one of those times, a small team will beat the bigger team because they have gone through every strat like 40 times. Liquid and EG just need to face EU teams again for like a month and i think they'll be stronger
2020-11-24 04:03
1 reply
yea its kind of like we've just gone back to the old days of NA cs were NA didnt get as many chances to play against EU, now its basically zero chances in more recent years NA get the chance to constantly bootcamp and be in EU for so many tourneys to get all the more experience and now they just go back to playing garbage

EG and Liquid losing to Chaos and Triumph bahahaha
2020-11-23 17:46
No, it's problems outside of the game for hen1 and for vini it could be a similar case, furia in and of themselves are somewhat inconsistent but they won 1st place IEM new york NA, dream open summer NA, blast premier spring 2020, dream masters spring 2020 na, 2nd at road to rio, and a bunch of other similar placements. i'd say they did really well for what it's worth.
2020-11-23 06:46

i agree but all of their wins were in NA when EG and Liquid (the only other tier 1 teams in NA) weren't doing too well. FURIA went to EU after many months and you saw what happened. they didn't even stand a chance. i'm not trying to flame them but a team that was doing so hot in NA and was in good form and was arguably the best NA team in 2020 going to EU and getting absolutely dismantled is not a good sign when they also start losing players
2020-11-23 17:02
8 replies
FURIA beat Liquid, then EG, then 100 thieves in a row, then lost only 2 games against new G2 with Niko and against MIBR who have both been playing extremely well. That's only 2 matches, that's not going to EU and getting dismantled. Imagine if C9 disbanded after losing 0-2 off the bat, wouldn't make sense. This isn't just about 2 losses.
2020-11-23 21:17
4 replies
My guy you're not understanding my point. FURIA had been DOMINATING all of NA and BR. they were winning almost every tournament in NA. like you said, they beat Liquid, EG, 100T and every other team. they were at the peak of their form and then they went to EU and everyone said they'd be a superpower and then they get destroyed by G2. it wasn't even close. and G2 was in bad form and that was NiKo's first game with G2. no one expects a team playing a first game with a new player to play well and not against an in-form dominant FURIA. they did get dismantled by G2 and then got broken by MiBR. A NEWLY formed MiBR. what else do you need? you're right, it's not about 2 losses. it's about the way they got those two losses. your comparison to C9 doesn't make sense because you're comparing a team of youngsters that has only been around for a month and a half and haven't proven anything. to FURIA, a team that dominated the NA scene for a year and then got completely rattled in their first EU tournament and are losing players right after. i'm not saying EU made them disband, but i'm not saying EU didn't either
2020-11-23 22:50
3 replies
I don't want to be that guy, but C9 is not a team of youngsters they're all 20+ years old heading to mid 20's, youngsters to me are like 20 and below. Anyways. Vini bottom fragged both of those games but it's not a big deal but you're underestimating what these teams are. That one player difference on G2, it's just one guy, it doesn't mess up their whole system, what it did do was give them confidence and make them immediately go ape shit, right after beating furia 2-0, they barely lost to astralis 1-2, they beat MIBR 2-1, and BEAT astralis 2-0 right after that. That is not a form of a new G2 that needs help, that's the form of a squad of experienced veterans going at it. Also losing to MIBR? Did you even see MIBR's form? They almost beat ASTRALIS 2-0 on their FIRST MATCH AS A TEAM. We're not talking one player, we're talking an entirely different core. Then they proceed to beat Furia 2-1, and then almost 2-0 G2 as well in their new form with Niko, who like i said earlier, G2 was popping off. So you can't tell me that those 2 losses are just unfounded and are enough reason to be considered as "dismantled" and have player changes, none at all. Those 2 teams they lost to were insane in that tournament and you can't prove that wrong. Also, furia got double digit rounds against G2 on both maps, that wasn't a "dismantling"
2020-11-24 00:26
2 replies
first of all, your comparison of C9 to FURIA is literally irrelevant. there is no comparison. and by young, i meant as in the team is young because they haven't played together for long. that FURIA roster has been together for over a year and dominated all of NA in 2020 you're right that one player doesn't make too much of a difference. so G2 were kinda mediocre before he joined, they shouldn't be too good after he joined either. at least not good enough to beat FURIA the way they did. and "almost" doesn't cut it. MiBR lost to Astralis, FURIA lost to G2, G2 lost to Astralis, FURIA lost to MiBR. the point is the results. They were a shadow of the FURIA we saw on NA. And my point wasn't even how they played or how many maps they won. My point was that they went to EU, and evaporated. They lost in disappointing fashion, disappeared, no one heard about them and then all of a sudden, they are losing potentially two players from their core. That my guy, is a dismantling
2020-11-24 01:35
1 reply
You're just ignoring the entire point of how they played as if it didn't matter, it does. You're telling me a team's first game with a brand new CORE almost beating Astralis, and taking a map off of them is meaningless, that's nice, also G2 lost to Astralis 1-2 then beat them 2-0 to win the group, you're saying that they have to be trash? They proved they weren't. Also they didn't evaporate, literally 2 matches against 2 teams that were both playing extremely well in that tournament, whom furia got double digit rounds on both maps on the first, and took MIBR to 3. In case you didn't even read the reasonings they're losing 2 players, hen1 because of issues outside of the game not pertaining to CSGO at all, and for vini we don't even know yet. You're just assuming so hard and it isn't right.
2020-11-24 03:27
they literally only played 1 event in EU after dominating NA, lmao are u trolling? u expect them to come to EU and out of nowhere start destroying every tier 1 team they didnt played agaisnt before?
2020-11-24 00:38
2 replies
