In my first run back Poland gave me 900K casualties (wtf) I occupied France and UK but war only turned my way with Italian help. Couldn't beat USSR outside Moscow suburbs just like IRL. They must of added all kinda of thingies to make it harder over the years still I think my knowledge base is pretty good to start learning

Don't think so. I can play hoi4 over and over again, currently I have 850 hrs there. And Stellaris became boring after only 300 hrs of playing, so I'd say hoi4 is much more replayable

Hoi4 doesn't have any diplomacy.Every game over and over again everything comes to world war. Its 0,00001% probability what world war will not happen In Stellaris every game is unique,every time world map is not the same.Even if you will set 30 empires what will be spawn every game match wouldn't be same. Even end crisis and how it's going is unique every game Btw I played hoi4 for 200-300h,I currently have 500h,mostly done by playing with friends or observation In Stellaris I have 350h,mostly of that is by solo playing (Stellaris games is way more longer than Hoi4 ones,so some friends doesn't like it)

I also played most of my hours in both games with friends, world war in hoi is pretty interesting to play against the real players. And ofc every game in hoi comes to world war, this game is about WW2 ffs. But in stellaris every game also comes to painting the entire map, in big galaxies it becomes very annoying cuz of micromanagement on late stage of game

In Stellaris painting entire map is not a duty In hoi4 you are forced to paint a map. Also my friends don't like to play PvP in strategic games,maybe because of that I like Stellaris more,because playing Hoi4 with friends is quite annoying because you always forced to goin into alliance

Maybe. But I cant do Paradox games like hot cakes EU4 and HoI4 only for me.. I want to learn them deep. Well in EU4 I already have some nutty achievements world conquest and some other 1 percenters. HoI 4 I put it on pause because when it came out it was pretty casual game
