liquid identity crisis

it seems like liquid is going through a real rough patch. they should have kicked stewie and added grim instead of kicking nitro imo. whenever i think of liquid i think ‘elige carry pog’ which is not a good sign. It means they aren’t an effective team. And NAF looks really uncomfortable awping. Not sure what the solution is.

Stewie's IGLing isn't really fitting for Twistzz so I that's why he isn't in form lately.

what are you calling me ‘dipshit’ for? read the news post. If I’m incorrect then fine. He stepped down once the team started talking about replacing him, a de facto kick

Kicking nitr0 was necessary for long term success. Problem is they probably got a wrong guy to replace him.
2020-11-24 13:29
" once the team started talking about replacing him, a de facto kick" So you must be the Liquid CEO since you knew that the team were discussing about replacing nitro and that's the reason he stepped down. Anyways i dont care, he stepped down, he was not kicked stop twisting things to fit your narrative.

not much choice when botr0 wants to leave for valulrant. stewie probably the best fit for igl after he left, but they should've gotten someone else to igl instead of grim

They should go international again with adding Fallen as an IGL and as a Main AWPer. I personally would say to keep Stewie2k in the lineup because he does the entry fragging to create space for EliGE or Twistzz to pop-off. I personally would feel bad about Grim but if Liquid offers him as a 6th man when someone in the lineup wants to take a break or do it like Vitality which change a player in certain maps. I also don't think Moses is a solid coach for the team, maybe add dead or adreN again as coach because Moses isn't really working imo.

As long as he doesn't whiff easy shots that NAF mostly does, Liquid will be gucci.

There hasn't be a solid plan (more than let EliGe carry) since nitr0 left.

"kicked stewie" another pepega post. if stewie wasnt there, elige wouldnt play as good.
2020-11-24 13:27

right, because elige would turn into a dedicated entry, hes one of the only aggro players on liquid. If somebody else was igl liquid would play better. its obvious theyre in some kind of mental rut
2020-11-24 13:29
lack of motivation imo. the tricore are kinda off lately, literally playing a mm match. stewie calls are stupid af. grim overrated. maybe get azr, gratisfaction. vanity osee good as well.

Solution is getting a real IGL and a dedicated AWPer. Not sure if NA themselves have these. Good thing is they can get players from EU.

-Stewie2k +Vanity Naf goes back to rifling/2nd awp Another solution would be -Stewie2k +AZR Make a 6-man roster just like how Vitality does and add an Awper like Osee, Gratisfaction, Cooper (does he even play CS anymore?). Move Grim to 6 position and sub him in whenever Naf/Twistzz are not feeling it. Get adreN back as an analyst or put him back on coach and move Moses to analyst. This team needs proper strats and at least under adreN they tried to be the carbon copy of Astralis strat-wise. No matter what I think Stew has to get replaced, I don't think he is a bad player necessarily, but they need a change and he seems like the weakest link of the team.
