Looking at the resent results at tournaments such as Nine to Five, NaVi being good, Spirit and VP playing well against higher EU teams and 7 of top 30 teams actually being from the CIS region, is 2020 the year of CIS region growth? Has CIS surpassed NA, especially considering how bad 2020 has been for NA region in general?

CiS tends to do better on LAN if you see from past majors (all the surprises like gambit, flipside, hellraisers, QB fire, vega, avangar etc etc)

CIS has a lot of decent tier2-3 teams but they are struggling to break into tier1, lack of IGLs and team structure are the main issues, they've got that firepower tho

CIS actually has a lot of IGLs, but the structure is lacking thats for sure. And yeah I am mainly focusing on tier 2/ tier 3 as whenever I check tournaments for those tiers, its mostly CIS teams reaching semi's or finals (Gambit, Espada, Nemiga, etc.). Only tier 1 team is NaVi pretty much, although Spirit and VP has a chance to break in.

cuz it is true, it is worst shit on the planet. maybe some countries like Iran might be worse, but if you compare US, EU and CIS, then you clearly see that CIS is useless shit it should just disband. so at least some countries from CIS will have a chance to live better life.
and yes, i'm talking about both sides (CS:GO and real life)

What truth? CIS scene is better than US/NA thats for sure and about real life its hard to tell, when it comes to people there are bad apples in any region.

NA scene is kinda sleeping right now, but they will raise again. and CIS is just a scene of tier2-4 players.
