It’s because they are the biggest hypocrites. They think these renewable energy sources grow on trees. They also think that just because the cars run on electricity it is clean, but the battery is dirty, the car is dirty and the electricity is dirty. They are in fact very populist and quite ignorant. In my country Sweden they have much influence. They shut down several nuclear power plants without replacing them with anything, so last summer we had a big shortage and had to import dirty electricity from Poland and Germany that was produced with coal. What a fail, this is the definition of low IQ.

there's many ways to implement renewable energies into the existing power supply system but yeah, the prerequisites differ from place to place and country to country obviously. nuclear fission is actually a very clean energy if we just knew how to handle the waste properly. :/ in the future we will be hopefully able to do nuclear fusion by ourselves or since there is no bigger power source available to us somehow extract enough energy directly from the sun maybe by having big powerplants outside in the orbit.
