I agree somewhat. The deagle can be pretty unreliable. In some situations it seems like a shot should connect but doesn't. It's mostly fine though.

I mean, the deagle is fine as it is. He's just circlejerking and is probably a silver lying about his rank and hours.
The gun has always been ok, it's very precise on long range if you're still + crouching, and close range it's 2shots. People complaining about this probably have never played against 1.6 deagle, which imo was far superior to this version (and nobody really complained about it) even if it needed 3 body shots to kill, instead of the current 2 (which are still faster than his 5 m4 shots complaint)

Well the point about him saying that the deagle is better at close ranges than the M4 is true though and I dont think that a pistol in any situation should be a more viable option than a rifle.

And you know what's a good counter to that? Playing medium/long range against it.
It's like complaining about that pistols that killing with 1 bullet hs at close range when the m4 doesn't, or that a mac10 can kill you faster than an m4. You just need to know how to play around them.
If you nerf them, half buys/pistol buys become useless, and there should be a risk against going in against a stack or just not respecting them.

The deagle is fine in my opinion. "deagle shoots 2 times while m4 not even 5 times". Ok so hit head with m4 and deagle is gone. If you get outplayed with it, you are doing something wrong, otherwise the pro scene would be winning all the ecos. Just some fag with an oppinion who is trying to act smart but gets killed with deagle all the time.

Light buy rounds have never been as OP as in recent times. Back in the day you would win like 1 out of 5 out of these rounds, now it is a lot closer to 40%.

i agree with it does too much damage, 2 bodyshots to kill is stupid.
however its still a 700$ pistol, it does not need a buff to its accuracy. you need a buff to your brain and aim.

Why does a $700 pistol need to be 100% accurate?
If that would be the case, why would you ever buy the scout, or rifles even, if your aim is good.
It's all abot balance, deagle is the most expensive pistol because the 1-hit his possibility, but it's also cheaper than rifles because it's more inaccurate.

That dude plays CS:GO for 3k hours and still didn't discover that CS was always a roulette game.
It is not Quake, a true skill based shooter.
That's why it has a such small player base. People do not like to face truth, that they suck. People enjoy to have a small chance of winning even tho the enemy is better.

Eventhough i like to spam body shots with Deagle at close range to get that 2 hit to chest kill, i gotta agree that it should be at least 3 hits to get a kill.
Anything else is fine with Deag and probly the most balanced weapon rn.
Or...
Valve might add .44 Deagle that holds 8 bullets (or maybe .357 Deagle with 9 bullets) which requires 3 body hits while placing .50 Deagle at shotguns section and increasing its price to make it long range shotgun.
In the end two different Deags:
.44/.357 caliber, 8/9 bullets, 3 hits to body, cheaper/preferably same price. A handgun.
.50 caliber, 7 bullets, 2 hits to body, 700 dollars more expensive. A shotgun. (Dont @me for calling it shotgun, pros use it as shotgun. Especially Ropz abuses it.)

CSGO Reddit is just as bad as HLTV. They're bad in different ways, but equally so.
He has a point about how the deagle should reward accurate headshots and not just bodyshot spam. It's kinda ridiculous that a $700 pistol can kill in a similar time to an M4 by just spamming bodyshots.
He's 100% right tho, and many pros say the same thing.
More long range accuracy and not being able to 2-hit an armored opponent with bodyshots would be much better and require real skill.
