Still waiting for a comment from a person over the age of 12
I don't mind if people don't agree, just keep it real

you could have made this bait a little bit less obvious, but I understand if you're new to this.

Not entirely sure if OP is secretly making fun of s0mple by making Na'Vi fans look bad, or if he's actually being serious..
Either way, always funny to watch that clip. Completely outplayed. Thanks.
2020-11-26 02:37
Alright maybe HLTV is only for kids who are trying to tilt people or be funny?
Not actually talking about the community and game that we all play
2020-11-26 02:38
apex already made a statement just after they won move on
2020-11-26 02:43
It's been 4 years now, and Na'Vi fans still find new ways to make everybody hate them even more.
2020-11-26 02:53
professionalism isn't good for the scene.
the more unprofessional the better
2020-11-26 02:54
navi fanboys talks about others being unprofessional, funny
2020-11-26 02:58
This isnt bad whatsoever. Middle-finger is nothing to worry about, after all, s1mple is a person who rlly asks for that kind of things. I dont see anything wrong, in fact, it rlly made me laugh and made the match funnier and entertaining. In football the guys reach a point where they punch each other mate, so saying "middle-finger" is bad makes you look like a kiddo. This isnt wrong IMO, s1mple rlly got rekt and this made the game funnier.
2020-11-26 03:07
Its super unprofessional what he did. Should he be punished ? YES. Will he be punished ? NO.
Good thing is that S1mple will come even stronger and 2 lvls abobe others.
2020-11-26 03:24
The people who are working on the stream probs thought it was hype as it actually was, so decided to put it in to create a better experience for viewers.
2020-11-26 03:25
Let him have his moment. apeX as a player will be forgotten unlike s1mple,zywoo and niko who will be remembered as the top players
2020-11-26 03:29
I thought it made the game interesting. You don't like drama?
2020-11-26 03:32
Just saying, when dupreeh did this people lost their shit. Now apex does one better and people are calm. Hypocrisy in this community lmaooo
2020-11-26 04:08
classic butthurt Scandinavian
2020-11-26 04:24
If we want to advance as a civilization we can't have pussies crying over nothing. We have to stop being so soft and let people express themselves. Not a single person was hurt or offended. There's real problems in the real world. Who gives a frenchman's fuck.
2020-11-26 09:02
Check my flair
And I thought I was considered a snowflake 😂
2020-11-26 09:03
Stop crying over this already.
2020-11-26 09:05
What a pathetic snowflake. Cry more.
Flair checks out btw.
2020-11-26 09:14
cs = very high level of pressure and stress in pro play
ofc i cant deny its not ok but it is ok to reflect ur feelings (makes you feel better) and obviously it's not meant to be an insult so it should be allowed and is normal
2020-11-26 09:13
dude coaches have been flying above the map for four years and your worried pro players centre extremities are gonna ruin the e sports scene?
2020-11-26 09:12
Don't tell me you feel offended by a middle finger ?
Maybe in denmark it's really bad, but come on in France we use it very often with our friends, and it's not like apEX and s1mple don't know each other, it's just a simple banter. I would be more hurt by a teabag than by this tbh
Edit: I remember the little drama about NBK giving middle finger to his coach XTQZZZ last year. It was just amical, nothing else
2020-11-26 09:13
Other sports are way harder/unfriendly than this clip lol. Remember Zidane? And the other millions of injuries caused by hotheaded football players
2020-11-26 09:14
+1 they call a professional then u should show respect each other on competition match
2020-11-26 11:13
If the Esports scene wants to advance and be a big part of the sports scene like soccer or whatever, they can't accept this. In NFL for example, a player can be fined for making a silly celebration dance after scoring a TD. Players removing their shirts after scoring has been considered unsportsmanlike behavior by FIFA for quite some time, in soccer. And even to me these things seem silly, but they are punishable.
You can't argue that the middle-finger move is okay? It is NOT okay and if we in the Esport community want other people to take Esports serious, we can't accept this this behaviour.
2020-11-26 11:14
pls lets not become like LoL or OW where you can get fined for typing "sex" etc
2020-11-26 11:16
E-sports has a long history of Trash talk and Humiliating your opponents while soccer or many other traditional sports aim for "Good sportsmanship".
I think it takes something away from e-sports if you ban trash talk. It's also mostly for fun when they do it. I really like R6 but i hate the fact you can get banned for trash talking. Trash talking is a mental game and has it's rightful place in e-sports.
2020-11-26 11:20
it was just the hype ig , but yeah its not just these middle fingers , even in interviews people swear even now , that needs to stop
2020-11-26 11:21
True. It definitely doesnt attract sponsors
2020-11-26 11:23
s0mple deserved it, should be bullied even more
2020-11-26 11:24
Bad behavior (I am Vitality fan-boy)
2020-11-26 11:30
cmom man it could happen everyday ,haha esports would be greater haha
2020-11-26 11:34
Why are people nowadays so beta and snowflake? It has been around since 1.6, ppl were basically trashtalking during LAN and none complain about it. It has been around since ages.
2020-11-26 11:37
You can't compare NFL and CSGO. NFL is an American product, and America is well known for censorship towards everything. I agree that apEX shouldn't give the middle finger or directly curse at the opponents, but as he also explained, there is no bad blood between them. He respects them and the middle finger wasn't addressed at the opponent, but just a gesture of relief that they won the round. We do not need American censorship in Europe, it's embarrassing.
2020-11-26 11:44
U should go and watch cartoons, ur past ur bedtime OP
2020-11-26 11:50
If thats what professionalism is then I dont want esports to be professional. Its boring as shit, nobody cares about respect, some mild shittalking makes matches much more exciting
2020-11-26 11:57
Insulting your opponent in videogames goes to times when first DOOM came out. My opinion: if you want to be a real passionate player, then throw away all respect from the server. So, go fuck yourself, pathetic soyboy.
2020-11-26 12:10
He isn't kicking someone in face with his boot in football.
2020-11-26 12:16
Hahaah what is this thread you remind me of my 12yo self😎🖕
2020-11-26 12:18
Snowflakes everywhere. Grow a pair.
2020-11-26 12:18
Lmao, typical s0mple fanboy.
s0mple says or does something, it's all fun and games, it's banter etc.
Someone says something or does something to s0mple, omg, bully seminar, omg, so evil.
2020-11-26 12:18
snowflake navi fan
expected btw
cry s0mple
apEX_1_major_s0mple_0_major
2020-11-26 12:19
Stop dreaming, CSGO will never be considered as a normal sport anyway, we're talking about a game where you shoot people in the head, it's not something you could put at the olympics... so for now I wonder what's a middle finger in the middle of all that, and I'd rather keep that funny BM stuff around because it makes things more entertaining
2020-11-26 12:31
Taking off shirt not allowed in soccer, still players do when hyped
Same for apex
I remember dupreeh did too
2020-11-26 12:34
apex should be fined for sucking his thumb on webcam too
2020-11-26 12:36
i agree man. apEX should be punished for that
2020-11-26 15:28
this is why i like dota2 all voice chats and tips. Best way to celebrate and make ur opponent angry.
2020-11-26 15:35
Who cares, stop being a little bitch
2020-11-26 15:36
why should eSports try to emulate the people that deem it "A wierd waste of time played by stupid nerds".
We in the CS scene have our own standards why should we change them to fit some stupid idea of "sportsmanship"
2020-11-26 15:39
I think this is very insulting (apeX even added "fuck you!" in french) but s1mple has been disrepectful to apeX in the past. Now, this is still esport, and i think BM should be allowed, since he didnt insulted s1Mple directly (simply showed it to his screen) and the reaction wouldnt have been shown if ESL didnt show it on PURPOSE so its definitely a threat or an insult to s1Mple since he cant see it. I think its 100% fair
2020-11-26 15:39
I don't mind it personally but it is absolutely true that this would get punished in other sports
2020-11-26 15:41
I dont think a problem there, just a friendly sign.
2020-11-26 15:43
It is not okay to show middle finger. However, it is okay to show it to toxic players like s2mple.

Fan of the player that called all germans nazi's and thinks a middlefinger should be punished lmfao
2020-11-26 15:46
you are absolutly right.
esport want it and can't afford that kind of thing.
I agree with you even if I really like this player and even if that moment was completely crazy hahah
that made the esport history
2020-11-26 15:47
It's ok to do it, that's just a part of morale.
Sensitive soyboys from your NFL can suck me off though.
2020-11-26 16:25
Why would they want to be more like those leagues? They are something different if I wanted to go watch real sports with those rules I'd watch that right? But it's more entertaining like this
2020-11-26 16:30
Mon, he is giving fingers. BabyRage
2020-11-26 16:49
esport is taken seriously already what you mean bro
2020-11-26 16:51
For me the equivalent of NFL celebration, in csgo would be something like t-bagging or spraying the body of the dead player.
Your example about NFL don't look very correct to me.
There is no use to see the player face. It's not about the game, it's for the Show and for showing players reactions (And it's wanted by the organisation of the tournament).
If a soccer player is on the bench and say "F*ck", he was not in the game's space and if someone notice it it's because a cam was on him, do you think he need to be punished ? And if he was at home ? On both side he was not in the game.
Apex did his middle finger while he was playing, but it was out side the game, did he deserved to be punished ? If yes, is it because he was on the cam ? (the camera that the organization showed us, intentionally)
Is IEM need to be punished more or less than apex ?
Cadian who chat "??+ zywoo ****" inside the game, is he deserving to be punished, as, more or less than apex ?
And also what type of punishment, and from who ?
IEM ? "Apex, you do a middle finger on the cam and we show it to milion of peoples... you are ban" lmao
The others organizers ? "Apex, we heard that you do something wrong somewhere else, no one punishe you and we were not is the business but ... you are ban" lmao
Valve ? "you didn't do anything wrong in the game but ... you are ban" lmao
"It is NOT okay and if we in the Esport community want other people to take Esports serious"
I don't know how you want the esport look like man. Ask a skateboader what he think about the JO XD. For me it's wierd to say that all sport had the same spirit, because it's obviously false. I did a bunch of differents sports and it was different all the time. And about csgo, it's maybe a hard, gross and wierd spirit but I like and personnaly I don't want it to change.
2020-11-26 16:53
Apex read s1mple like a book and got hyped, i don't see anything wrong here (ignore my flair pls, i hate it)
2020-11-26 17:42
he excused himself and said that he did it with the hype and everything, but he should get like a warning or something
2020-11-26 17:42
Unfortunately, CS will never be considered as serious competition bcuz of stuff like this.... Just the fact that it's being streamed on Twitch says enough for itself...
2020-11-26 18:01
if we start limiting emotional reaction and banter / shit talking, then all players will just be robotic, making viewership even less in my opinion. Plus isn't the game like 18+ ? If you cry about a middlefinger, then maybe competing in CS isn't for you :/
2020-11-26 18:07
It was not sportsman like, but really who cares?? Has it made the NFL or football or other sport better for not having that stuff in it? No I personally don't think so, I love to see real emotion in sport, and that from apex was just pure! Anyone that has played sport will know, passions run high and your on the edge, its just hidden for the cameras, which is ridiculous. How anyone could be offended by it and not enjoy that moment is completely beyond me.
Anyone who is old enough may remember Gazza being asked for comment in a game against Norway in the 1990's, he responded "F**K off Norway" in Norwegian, absolute gold. Keep doing what your doing apex, we love you for it!
2020-11-26 18:14
its a fair return of toxicity for s1mple
2020-11-26 18:22
Yeah well whatever, I don't understand how some people are getting offended over this little. We're actually, in 2020, down to effing ice cream being renamed because a few doorknobs can't handle looking at such things (oh the humanity! This must mean every single world crisis has been solved-- no...), and now a simple middle finger in a spur of the moment "isn't okay"?
Is it not possible to find a hobby and get over it?
2020-11-26 18:59
This is good. Keep esports pure and not tainted by mainstream sanitized nonsense.
2020-11-26 19:03
here, take this : \__________________________/
2020-11-26 19:10
dude... on the contrary, forbidding stuff is bad. let ppl do whatever they want educate yourself and your family and accept that freedom has this side in wich you have to teach yourself not to care.
you will lose your precious freedom because ppl dont like the way you act. that is WAY WORSE
2020-11-26 19:14
Reported for troll. It is sensitive people like you who ruin the fun in competitive environments
2020-11-26 19:18
The only reason soccer players cant take their t-shirt off is because you have to show the sponsors after your score a goal.... these 80 year old sports organizations fining players for anything are pathetic
2020-11-26 19:21
I love this emotions <3 :) Most of new generation players make -4, -5 but acting like nothing happened, simply they are death inside. One of reasons why i love Vitality, they have life in them
2020-11-26 19:26
Stopped reading after you called football soccer. Nice fake flagging
2020-11-28 07:41
We don't want esports to become a mainstream, we want it to stay a niche for us high iq mens. Mainstream is for plebs.
2020-11-28 08:17
not like ur making any $ off it
2020-11-28 08:48
It’s ESL fault to have shown this on live tho
+ cry is free
2020-11-28 08:58
how pathetic does your life have to be to get triggered and make a thread over this
2020-11-28 09:17
Personally I dont mind the middle finger at all but if the scene were to develop and gain more viewers and screentime it needs rules.
Professional athletes get fined for things they say that are not suitable for TV. They also get suspended for actions they have done towards other players (bad tackles or other physical gestures)
This is why I dont want csgo to gain a spot in TV because I feel that csgo scene would lose a part of itself.
2020-11-28 09:29
omfg he pulled out camera middle finger
who cares, they lose final
2020-11-28 09:38
KeenyS tea bag, XTQZZZ death threats, apEX middle finger...
Bienvenue en France le fragile :)
