If you actually watch the games, you know this team of inconsistent aimers would never be even top20 without aleksib. You don't have to like him but you have to admit he knows his stuff. He already took ENCE with the likes of Aerial and xseveN to top3 which is insane considering what happened to them after he got kicked for being the "problem". Imagine if OG did the same. They would not even be in the top30 after a year.

bro, tactics isnt something igl is responsible for, they work on it while bootcamping with a coach. igl is just a person who talks the most during the game. if u look at 90% of navis game at tournaments like ESL, IEM they literally outplay everyone and always show sick executes, retakes etc. until they reach the finals. NaVi was playing a completely different cs before Blad3, after he arrived they started playing like ex Flipsid3 but with a much better lineup. U can also see a lot of comms from s1mple and elec who lurks and gives all the info

You literally placed magisk, art and kNg in top 5 igl and you talk about overrating Aleksi. Magisk can't igl shit without gla1ve, art with his silver strat can only dominate teir 2 NA scene and kNg the captain of a team who was literally formed in blast and haven't proved shit. They are just winning some matches becoz of honey moon period. And on the other hand Aleksib who made his team reach top 10 twice with completly different lineup is overrated. Do you ever make use of your brain? IEM bejieng was their only bad tournament so far and they are back on track now.

good IGL can win teams with greater firepower with good decision making. This is why I don't count nexa, apEX or arT so high for pure IGLING, they have so much material to work on. How hard is it to say to ZyWOo to "go kill". Whole Furia roster are strong individuals, well atleast against NA :D Or NiKo in faze, he had material too, but ok he did not like igling. As for Astralis and OG I think they are not strong individually, but they are strong together which is a point for glaive/magisk/aleksi.

No there's opening strats where you just go into an execute. Theres timeouts, there's practice which gla1ve leads way more than Magisk. Mid rounding is important but it is no where near all an IGL does and Gla1ve still has most of the traditional IGL responsibilities. Team research, developing strategies, demos, etc.
