Asian countries still have massive internet cafes but not sure what they do during the pandemic

ACHTUNG ACHTUNG AUSROTEN IST VERBOTEN
Go China, full of internet cafe's and guys playing Dota2 or LoL
remember my first phone Nokia was stolen at a lan cafe form my coat when I was playing 1.2?
In Russia they are still a thing
Did they get banned in Germany or something??
It's become like that again in Denmark.
After the 00s and when accessible highspeed internet became a thing they almost all disappeared. People just gamed from home instead.
But now, after e-sport has exploded, and there's a broad focus on it, a lot of new and very high quality netcafes are starting to appear.
I remember those good times! We would lan whole night. Those caffes are still up around Balkans if I remembere correctly
Go to South Korea. But they only play league
still remember that I spent like whole day at net cafes in 2001-2003 and play cs 1.3 on fckn rats map xD
Yes, here in Philippines I got into CS from internet cafes, it's really fun. Got my own PC now tho.
I know many people for example in kosovo that play from internet cafes, but in sweden we have the biggest one ;) Inferno online
also 1 time at lane cafe I used to go to after school was raided by the police because a competitor ratted on him and told police they were using pirated software (probably were lmao). They took all the computers away and it was closed lmao

I was a lan rat 2012-2016 las Vegas ,
Its still kinda popular where I'm from. I know people who can still afford a really good PC that come to gaming cafes and stay there for hours and hours every single day. It's so much more fun to play in a gaming cafe with other people than alone at home tbh. Unless you're an introvert ofc
Yes, but I think that people in my country played more Starcraft, AoE mostly LAN games no online. At that time I think there was CS 1.5(I didn't know what version was) and mostly people played hostage mode.
was like that in bosnia until 2010
just buy your own pc, dont have screaming kids in the background, and save money on the long term
why did they cancelled it?
clubs and cafes still work here, but its counts on one hand fingers...in late 90s and early 00 they was on every corner
was never really a thing here
i was the most professional cs player on those cafes
