he is in the team just for hype and interviews
2020-11-26 20:24
OMEGALUL. Always has been.
2020-11-26 20:24
I think cogu is the professional driving force behind them, there has been a lack of work ethic in the brazilian scene for a while now and he's the perfect fit for MIBR to not fall into that bad habit. +Motivational bonus
2020-11-26 20:25
cogu is there for luck, like fnx.
2020-11-26 20:26
Not useless cuz he add things like trust and experience
and it is realy important too
2020-11-26 20:26
i just saw this video today.
Yeah its weird, he basically just cheer them up. lmao
2020-11-26 20:26
All coaches are useless except ImAPet, adreN, zonic and zews.
2020-11-26 20:26
He is there more as a manager than coach, he is hired as coach/manager. Although he is doing a great job as the manager apparently, he is there to support them at any cost, he is a legend, he has the experience needed to help them, mainly trk, vsm and leo_drk who never played in tier 1
2020-11-26 20:28
he keeps discipline by slapping them occasionally
2020-11-26 20:28
Cogu = more merch sales = ez money for MIBR
2020-11-26 20:31
He's a legend with a lot of exp, he knows some strategies and he study the other team to show to mibr
(Sorry for my bad english)
2020-11-26 20:31
He was contracted as manager since the beginning, but people and gaules hyped him as coach, but he was never or intended to be one.
Remmeber he only tryied playing csgo back in 2016 or something for some months and he retired again, he never learned it properlly.
He was even playing only Valorant since it lauched.
2020-11-26 20:33
to say "from round to round" every time they win one
2020-11-26 20:34
yeah man, he came to mibr to me the manager, not only the coach.
2020-11-26 20:34
Maybe he is like RobbaN was in Faze, a motivator or something like that.
2020-11-26 20:40
do you know what a good leader is all about? facilitating and enhancing the best quality of your team members. If as a coach, he sees that his team will perform better doing their own thing, his job is to adapt this from an analytical point of view, crossing with how the oppenets playstyle should be and coordinating actions against weakness that his team might have while doing their thing. He is also in charge of discipline and be the 'unbiased' point of view when there are diasgreements.
a good coach is not the one that makes the best tactics - they are worthless if the team has a hard time understanding it and applying it, given the individual characteristics. a good coach is the one that makes the team perform and have knowledge about what to do in most situations possible, what to train, point out where they are strong and weak, etc.
2020-11-26 20:47
hes an emotional coach, he only need to scream a lot
2020-11-26 21:17
So he's basically a cheerleader?
2020-11-26 21:22
All those Enzo's talking shit about cogu and never been in a lan in old days to see how much he represents for the scene in Brazil, even more than Fallen & Cia.
2020-11-26 21:26
I think mibr works that way
if someone leaves the team, they will not work
2020-11-26 21:37
who cars they are winning matches and playing well
