Don't drink caffeine 8-12 hours before bed. Create a wind-down ritual. Turn on night mode on your computer monitor, don't play videogames two hours before bed, turn off electronics, eat carbs (body converts them to serotonin)

You gotta do some physical work to exhaust yourself to an extent. Calisthenics will help, very productive from each side. And turn on some Lo-Fi TV channel, like an ocean world or something, try to pay attention and you'll get sleepy real fast.
Meditation and a breathing exercise before you sleep.
Stop eating after 7 PM, don't have caffeine, turn off electronics 1 hour before you sleep, don't' stress about not falling asleep,go to the gym or whatever during the day/evening so you're tired.
As a weed user for my whole life, id definitely recommend it for sleeping.
Now with that being said, what i'd recommend the most is that you try to tire yourself, exercise, eat well, search for that in your mind that won't let you sleep.
After all of that, THEN you can also help yourself with a little weed.
