I have a couple of theories.
To play football it is not necessary to be tall and if you are athletic and tall you end up preferring some sport of greater prestige than being a goalkeeper. I mean when you are a youngling and willing to play something.
In addition, as already mentioned, the highest population in Brazil is in the South of the country, which is predominantly Caucasian.

Maybe the correlation is that them being tall is because of them being some sort of an european descent. If they're dutch descent for example they'll be tall as hell and white.
