Save estag from this shit team... This teams fragpower is not up to tier 1 level. And ALEX is an overrated IGL. I doubt the synergy is there too.

C9 had some really nice T side strats, especially for such a new team. Hard to say about ALEX, he is not hitting shots right now but his igling seems fine from how C9 is doing.

Their contract money that henryg revealed on his Twitter, extract money for buyout (which we know on pretty much all players) and the rest of the money divide by 3 year contract
Also floppy May be on par with Es3tag now but will become better after time
Floppy was 432k deal no buyout which is 11 k per month Es3tag was 2.1 mil, at least 500 k buyout cuz C9 were i presume desperate as fuck after not getting niko, Hunter or jks

Floppy is a consistent and smart fragger, especially in a place like NA, he's always outshone everyone on every team he's been on and this lineup won't be different, especially as time goes on. I love C9 and I love Es3tag but Floppy is insane for being a lowly MDL comeup.

I agree with you on your points but it is a bit too early to assert that he is better than estag. I still think he needs to prove himself but he sure looks to have good potential.

Not really sure you can assert Floppy needs to "prove" himself when Esetag is basically only played as a + fragger for two online tournaments with Astralis while Floppy has hard carried a 20th ranked team for nearly two years.
I think Estag especially with the money he's being paid has much more to prove.

This comment shows how you apparently only followed estag during his time in Astralis. Estag has been a consistent top tier player in the danish scene for years. He's played with heroic before and he was absolutely crushing it. He's played in better rosters and player a higher tier of cs than floppy so far. So yes, floppy is the one who needs to prove himself.

The fact Es3stag is 24 is a point against him not for him.
He has much more to prove being one of the most highly paid players in the game. He's never been a top 20 player in all those years. Floppy if he keeps his current trajectory will be one next year.
I don't know what else to say on the subject. He's one of the safest rookies in the world to sign right now.

I never mentioned his age because it is irrelevant. If you haven't followed estag through his career you should just shut up and admit that you are underinformed. It is a fact that estag has proved himself as a capable player in a high tier level. You think organizations want to give away money on trash players? Orgs know what's up, he is a solid, consistent, valuable player. So is floppy, but he has more to prove. He hasn't played beyond tier 2 NA cs so far which basically counts as tier 5 worldwide. He has potential, but comparing him to estag at this point is foolish and delusional.

.98 up to 1.05 rating. Definition of an average pro. He was overvalued because of his time with Astralis. His age matters because it's extremely rare a guy breaks out into a + fragger at age 24. 18-22? Absolutely.
Also NA literally has the second best teams playing in it. Tier 5 compared to the rest of the world is a dumb fuck take dude. Two teams that won over half the big lan events a year ago play there and 5/20 best players in the world during the last year of LAN play there. If your take is really that NA is tier 5 compared to Oceania or Asia you are dumb. No other way to put it.

My definition of an average hltv user is someone who has no understanding of roles and compares players based on ratings.
1. estag has played in a higher level of competition compared to floppy, normal to have less rating
2. estag plays entry, floppy's teams have built their gameplan around him. Estag has a humbler role, yet has great impact.
3. Stats don't matter that much. The best judge of players is by watching them play. When I watch estag and floppy play, I see a wiser, more experienced, and more impactful player in estag than I do in floppy
4. If everyone could read csgo through hltv stats, thorin wouldn't be the most joked around csgo analyst of all time

What the CS world lacks in stats is for intangible things like positioning or game sense but we can measure kills and who's good at it pretty easily actually. And I'm only looking at big event stats so the competition argument simply does not work.

I don't see how this is even arguable. 6 months ago Astralis literally would not even buy the dude out they just waited for his contract. Which means no other big teams were lurking trying to compete to get him. Which means his stock went wayyyy up in the online era.

EU ain't the world and as a continent won less titles then NA last year. So while NA may not have the same breadth of teams since 2018 NA's top teams have been the best in the world or top 3 or 4 depending. So I mean pat yourself on the back I guess but if you're losing LAN events even with a large talent pool I don't know that any NA fans actually care.

You seem to only acknowledge estags career from astralis and onwards, but I keep saying he was a good player much before than that. I don't see how you can rank a tier 2 NA pogger better than an experienced EU player who has played tier 1 and tier 2 EU cs pretty much all his career. It seems like you are so absorbed with NA cs that you fail to realize how much it sucks compared to EU cs. Keep dreaming.
Would it be wrong in suggesting Floppy has a higher ceiling and lower floor than Es3tag? Es is way more consistent but if you compare their best games against one another floppy frags out way higher- no flame, you can’t have a solid roster without a consistent fragger... also Es3tag is an entry fragger and is absolutely crushing it!
