Ton of Esportal users claim to have been banned, so that's likely where Krimz got his VAC as well. Valve hasn't unbanned him because it's weekend and 'Muricans are celebrating Turkey Day

Unbanned on Monday
It's a manual case review system, it takes 10 - 14 days for false VAC bans to be overturned in most cases.

I'm not sure his status as a pro player will in any way rush their review of any evidence. Valve never rush anything. It still requires someone to manually go through all the data, those things take time.

I don’t agree that valve as a company will take this slowly. Like imagine the bad pr when top Pros get banned. Bad pr is not profitable so they will be quick to fix this issue

This could be different since it's a cluster of Esportal players which should make it easier to see what triggered the ban + krimz probably gets preferential treatment anyway
If so does that mean they forefit their match against Dignitas?

They probably get a stand-in, worst case Fnatic has to forfeit the tournament but Flashpoint probably doesn't want that to happen since it's so likely a false ban

faceit is biggest crap ever. they care only about around 20 pro players. normal users dont have any rights. cheaters getting away all the time, you lose to cheater, cheater gets banned you dont get elo. new accounts everywhere, boosting friends, booster gets banned, friends dont get punished so they just create new acc and continue etc.

ive played about 50 games and i have 2 negative thoughts about it:
-The matchmaking system is not based on rating, basically you get matched randomly. Me and my friends with about 1800-1900 rating playing against 1100 which is just a joke. ( I dont know if they fixed this? its been a few months since i played it)
-Its more for casual players, the players are very bad even on higher ratings. (I dont think that im that good to be casually top fragging most of the games, 2.5k faceit)
the only improvement over faceit is that there is no russians so basically no toxic players. The players are very friendly but i would rather play with a toxic russian kid who can actually kill someone, thats just my opinion

If Krimz gets unbanned so should I, Got banned for the same reason as he did. Im stressing out rn that i have lost 1400 dollars in skins. Valve will probably only unvac him and go on with their day.
But if im staying banned then so should Krimz. only makes it fair.

Also CS:GO devs answered someone on twitter regarding this exact issue I believe and they said that they will unban everyone that was VAC banned because of this, but they will do it all at once, so not one by one. When that will be idk, but that is what they said.
So if you were banned because of this, you didn't love 1400 $ in skins, since you will get it back eventually.

Apparently this is for 5E client (whatever that is). Idk if this is the same as what you guys were using, but if it's not it's safe to assume, that they will do the same for you also.

That 5E it's a chinese one, because some asian pro players were banned a month ago because of that.

I dont trust valve because i dont know what they are gonna do, wich is a scary thing. unreliable company that doesnt give 0 shits about its players. atleast not to my knowledge. if they cared about their players at all they wouldn't ruin a pro players career like jampii/vsm/brax by permantently banning them from valve sponsored events when they did something stupid at 13/14. this is why i Hate valve. at 13 you dont know if you in the future could earn money from playing a game.
this is also why i only think valve will not unban anyone, or maybe just Krimz.

my friend has bought an account with inventory, got vac banned on it (he was cheating for a bit on it) and he didn't even make the ticket about his ban, but in a week he got unbanned. I was really shocked cuz he was actually cheating on it lol
It is scary....to think they can literally completely fuck the rest of his career if they make a mistake (when obviously he didnt cheat). Its mind boggling how one company can have so much power with no regulation in such a billion dollar worth industry. This is for example, one thing where esports is still far behind regular sports.
Valve is pretty shit when it comes to being player friendly but they've unbanned random players in the past so I doubt this is going to be different. Getting permanent VACs from just from using their client would also kinda destroy Esportal's rep so they're probably also campaigning to get Valve to fix this

Yea they are, but what are they supposed to say? they cant prove it was their anti cheat that got alot of people vac banned, and the players have no way of prooving that it was esportals anti cheat that got you vac banned.
And not everyone who played Esportal and used Esportal Client got VAC banned so theres that. its Hard to proove any of it. Especially as a nobody. You dont have the trust and respect the pro's have. Valve cant trust you on just your word you need proof, and that proof is impossible to get.

Eh, I think Valve can probably see from their logs what specifically triggered the VAC ban and if it matches with the things Esportal's client interferes with. It might take a while but I wouldn't be too worried, it's probably going to go like the thing with the Chinese client went and Valve eventually unbans everyone

and if you dont know what esportal is it is like faceit just for scandinavians and germans.
and there is a HUGE difference between a normal player and a pro player. pro's get paid to play and play in tournaments. It's their job to play and for a normal player it's not.

i think what hes getting at is that if there was a faulty ban on something that happened to less people, and it didnt affect a pro, it would receive zero attention
