Man I think the dialogue is much better than the prequels, and slightly better than the sequels. However the storyline, themes, world building and film technology is legendary for it's time.

+1 the new mcu stuff sucks, too much cgi, too many weak comedy attempts, too family friendly and too cartoonish.

each ones have their strenghts, sometimes you just wanna see thor kick some ass.
But no doubt Dark Knight was miles ahea of MCU. You cant expect everyone to analyze a film like that, that trylogy had a lot of meaning behind it. For instance, when i was little i didnt find it that good, but when i rewatched it i figured that was good as fuck

Indiana Jones is kinda sick not gonna lie(I don't count the 4th one in this case, just like you wouldn't mix all Star Wars movies). But obviously it's between original Star Wars, Godfather and LOTR in terms of impact and lasting legacy.
