The safety cell is designed to break away from the engine and gearbox in impacts of that intensity but I'm amazed that he was able to jump out of that.

ive been following F1 since like 2007, and i think halo is the best thing ever..should have come already in 2014/2015 after Bianchi crash in Suzuka..
I never minded it as much as most people did. Thought it looked cool from some angles and ugly from some but never doubted it's purpose but I would argue up and down for its purpose, and never understood people saying that it was taking away from the excitement by reducing the danger.
imagine if he got knocked out from the crash...

Probably would've without the halo. Also it looked like the fuel cell didn't separate from the survival cell like it's supposed to, it should've been the rear of the car bursting into flames.
