hi guys, after the budget pc thread i finally got my new gaming pc this week, made several tests and it's running everything pretty well,i decided to go with a ryzen 5 3500x and gtx 960 4gb cfg,now i'll save money for a good mouse and headset, can you guys recommend me some that aren't so expensive?(about mid level budget) i was thinking about buying a razer viper mini(i have small hands so i don't want a giant mouse),but i have no clue about headsets, can you guys list headsets for a good value or an alternative to razer viper?i'm looking for a small/lightweight mouse

viper mini is a very good choice. Unfortunately headsets are all pretty bad(((
2020-11-29 17:36
I can't tell you much about small/lightweight mouses as I'm using a G502 myself, but if you're looking for a good budget mouse, I don't think razer is the best option. As for headsets I can easily recommend the hyperx cloud 2 or the coolermaster mh751

why viper isn't a good option?couldn't find hyperx cloud 2 and coolermaster on stock here, looks like it ran out on black friday, did you tested the hyperx cloud core?it's on a decent value here

He is talking shit. The Viper mini is actually not that expensive and a very, very good mouse. I would say it's currently a top 5 mice.

It's decent at it's price but definitely not the best, and it's far from being a top 5 mouse xd

tell me 5 better mice
2020-11-29 18:06
That's objectively incorrect. The Viper Mini has almost no objective flaws, besides the arguably slightly heavy cable and mouse feet that aren't top-tier. You may not like the shape, and that's fine - but objectively it's one of the best mice you could buy.

razer kraken x is really solid headset (and reasonably cheap), the others in the kraken series are also good. Although, the wire on the kraken x is sensitive, so you need to be specially careful while plugging it in or you will surely damage it. Thankfully it has a warranty, but you might consider getting something else if you aren't careful with your devices. Even if you aren't a rough user you will damage it, but if you're a careful guy you can get it cause the mic and sound quality is amazing.

it's pretty cheap here too,i'm very carefull and i don't rage,so i think i'm good, but the mic and sound are really good?

mic and sound are top notch, sound is very balanced, so no overwhelming bass and footsteps are crystal clear. Mic works great and is sturdy, the only fragile thing is the cable connector, so just plug it in and out gently. Note: the cable does NOT look fragile, but it actually is, google the issue for yourself.

i got the G430 for 39euros instead of 90, and it is a really good headset and a durable one

Gtx 960 lmao Pretty weird combo with a nice new Ryzen (isn't that exclusive to China though?) As for peripherals, I'd say you can't go wrong with a Logitech mouse (G502 is probably too big but one of the cheaper ones should do), and HyperX cloud 2 for the headset

i imported it lmao a third gen ryzen 5 here is very expensive so i kinda had no choice,it was this or going with a i3 9100f lol but i made lots of tests and it's with a very good performance, the 960 is kinda lame on some heavy games but i plan to upgrade to a rtx 2060/gtx 1660 ti in the next year,i found it on a good price in my city so why not lol

The 960 was my first GPU in my first PC, a year and a bit ago I swapped it out for a 2060 which is a big upgrade But if you're mostly playing CS obviously you'll be fine The 3060 will be out by then as well so you've got that to look forward to

i basically only play cs,gta, skyrim and forza,it does a nice job tbh but those games are well optimized,i will only buy cyberpunk and maybe pubg later

got it for 30euros last week, would recommend but its super light, so you will need time to accomodate.
2020-11-29 18:06
Viper mini is a good choice. I don't know alot about headsets, but I think that you don't need the newest or best headset for the best ingame performance, like with monitors or mice.
2020-11-29 17:58
get qpad qh-91 (same shit as hyperx cloud 2 but without brand overprice) for mouse get any mouse u want its the shapes that matter

xtrfy m4 is a great mouse, u dont need a "gaming headset" its overpriced and dumb check smth like superlux hd330 its cheap and has a batter sound than most ''gaming headsets'' if you wanna spend more money check brands like sennheiser, audio technica, beyerdynamic, etc. you need to get a better sound card aswell if you buy something more expensive cuz u wont hear their full potential
