trading frags isnt bad in general. personally i cant stand baiters like blamef or faceit "lurkers" calling b or a every round and going opposite alone (and usually dying like noob without single kill)

But when the objective is stat-padding not round wins, then it's officially baiting

if you throw nades on the execute so you are last out you are a baiter.
if you are a lurker and your whole team's execute fails so the whole twitch chat sees you on the other side of the map and somehow compare it to their pugs where their teammates go to the opposite bombsite because there are no strats compared to a player with a specific role you are a baiter.
if your teammate WANTS YOU TO BAIT THEM TO TRADE but nobody knows the comms so you end up being called a baiter, you are a baiter.

why lurking is considered "baiting"? ppl think flanking = collecting free kills in the back every round? if your flanks are impactful it's not even baiting imo
baiting is when you hide ct all the round long and then swing for 1-2 kills while your team is already dead, useless statpadding in other words. and it's about faceit pugs, not about e-sports

No trading is not bad but baiting is, you'll never see s1mple give up or risk his life for the benefit of his team.
There is a huge difference between pro games and pugs.
s1mple is the greatest baiter that has ever lived but obviously it works because of his incredible skill so much that it even compensates for his 60iq.
If you play like s0mple in pugs you are simply a retarded baiter. It is indeed baiting to always go as the last person on executes regardless of weaponry and to not go for refrags unless its a super save kill. That behavior loses games. Same with waiting palace on A go on mirage until everyone has ran out main for example, that is the other baiting. Lurking has its place in PUGS but sometimes it just doesn't work because the firepower is missing elsewhere and people have problems accepting that they cant lurk in certain games.
