Really? 10600k cheaper and can beat 5600x with using 4400 mhz memory + OC.
And yeah, it's not smart to compare current gen Ryzen to past gen Intel, okey?
I used XMP on my ram, 3600 mhz cl 16. Really no point in going through the headache of overclocking it even further for less than double digit improvements
Ah I seeeee
Intel fanboy sad because Ryzen 5 5600X gets nearly the same FPS in games as the i7 10700k and its way faster than the i5 10600k
Also your argument with 4400mhz ram is pointless because if you were to spend 1k$ on RAM you could simply just spend 10 times less for 3600mhz ram and go for the Ryzen 9 5950X which destroys any any 10th gen Intel CPU :)

Stock 10600K vs Precision Boost 2 5600X.
5600x is struggling even with 3600 mhz 10600k, 4400 mhz 10600k would destroy it.
Anyway, don't bother, see for yourself

And keep in mind that 10600k can work with 4400 mhz memory, not 3600, while 3600 is most comfortable frequency for ryzen 3000 (c) AMD.
Uhh yea I am sure they are pretty close yea. AMD says its trying to work on its BIOS to improve what ram the 5000 series supports, they are trying to bump it up to 3800 and possibly 4000 (but 4000 is not likely).
Currently you are fine, the 5600x is by far the best 6 core cpu, but with certain games it falls behind the 8+ core processors. If you look at any of the reviews of the newest ryzen cpus you will see it depends on the game a lot.
So they bought them when the 3700, 3700x, 3100, and 3300x were not in the world yet, you must think first before saying any garbage, delusional_rx570_fan
You shouldnt be unhappy because the new gen is better. That will always be the case with pc gaming. So if you were satisfied back than it shouldnt be a worrying factor when new gen comes out
