if you look at all the interviews, NiKo barely retained what karrigan gave him, karrigan essentially played a strong support role while still on the team so NiKo could still frag and lurk while positions were held down and reported by karrigan. That's why when karrigan was gone NiKo had to take up those positions instead of playing his usual areas on the map.
Ynk had experience in mibr... an international lineup, and near the second half they were more decent than any iteration of mibr until our current version. Also Janko mostly did out of game work like switching roles, player disputes, talking to upper management, and when he had to mid round call it was pre defined strategies from practice. Oh and btw, his so called "igling" in mouz was utter shit, don't even try to deny it. Him making a tier 2-3 team a back half of the top 10 team was purely based of his own skill and setting his own self up. The guy has barely any concept of tactics or team based CS, he'd rather just frag out to win and carry because he doesn't know how to igl in a way that incorporates the entire team and rarely utilizes the sum of its parts. It just looks like you're blinded by how great of a player the guy is to not see he can't igl and barely knows how to. We don't say shox in g2 2016 was a good igl do we? Those guys played off skill not on merit of actually being good at managing players and forming team based tactics.
