When a thread has a toxic comment, admins should only remove the toxic comment instead of thread/or whole comment section. For example reddit has this feature, and when comments are deleted, it says "deleted" but we can still see the comments under the removed comment.
Thoughts?
I hate it when I get notified about a response to something I said earlier but then I'm told that the whole thread has been deleted while I was away, too.
But what I realized over time is that all controversial topics meet the same fate regardless if there's some toxicity going on or not, so...
They don't want to actually do their job which is called "moderating" so they just delete whole threads in order to look like they are actually doing something.
+ 1
its actually pretty disrespectful of the admins towards those people who take their time to try to reason with people who do these comments..
but, hltv is pretty much as bad as facebook when it comes to moderation
If a thread generates more toxic comments then the moderation team can keep up with they remove the root cause so they can focus moderation efforts elsewhere.
