Last time I checked, Vitality didn't win all of their games.

I once saw ZywOo on Bombsite A on mirage in pistol round hiding on ninja and couldn't kill an enemy that didn't see him, missing like 6 bullets with usp
2020-12-03 02:19
Ive seen him overpeek, overextends a few times for a player of his caliber but asking me to link it...lol

ive seen one of inferno on last tournmanet , but was like for fun , he just run ramp to boiler clicking on w , and went kill the guy , on a 3 v1 , the round was like almost win , but he just went crazy mode. idk if you saw, its kind of "overextend" in a certain way
2020-12-03 03:30
Yeah he makes mistakes as well but i think he doesnt make many tbh.... especially not major mistakes U could count peeking in a 4v1 as a mistake if u consider that his teammates couldnt kill lile half a year ago, rn everyones looking sharp tho

He just reads the game so well, its insane. On top of that he just hits almost every shot, had insane crosshairplacement and so on....theres a reason he is called the chosen 1, first player who could shine like s1mple

You know you're one of the very few respectful ZywOo fans on HLTV :D Yeah, ZyWoo's just incredible, and even though he's performed worse this year as compared to last year (relatively), I'm sure this isn't even his peak yet. It's scary and amazing to think about what that would be like!

Honestly, i think he performed better, they just adjusted the roles in the team, now i feel like he gets set up way less/ different from 2019. Like on tside he plays more of an entry role, especially when nivera is awping. He can just shine in most roles i suppose, would love to see s1mple getting used in a similar way in s1mple cz i believe playing like that just gives ur teammates much more confidence and space they need.

Yes, I agree. By performance, I wanted to mean stats (my bad :D). He is performing better this year, of course. I meant that his stats are worse, but that's probably because of role changes, as you rightly said. Last year, the team used to create space for him, now he creates space for the team. Both of these strategies work, provided the leadership behind the decisions is good. Under Zeus, Navi actually knew how to create space for Electronic and s1mple, in a smart way, and hence they won a lot, as a team. If it's not done correctly, it just creates pressure on the player, that he has to deliver since the team is doing so much for him. Having said that, I think that in the last couple of months, Navi has stopped playing that much around s1mple, and are approaching the Vitality style. I hope it works :)

Yeah, navi look better, i checked major stats for some reason yesterday, i foind out 2018 s1mple, electronic and flamie were the top 3 rated players at the 2 majors that year, how did they not win. They clearly had and have the talent to be a consistent contender for the finals/titles but yet they fuck up completely one tourney and next one they almost win or even win I think the starplayer style doesnt work as well anymore, these days you need more than just a set up star. Sure he can win u some games but you will just play inconsistent af and can get outstratted/played more easily imo. Who are you? Resonable discussions on hltv....

Yeah, about the major, if you check the major finals stats, s1mple choked in both the finals, it was really sad :( In both of s1mple's major finals, the first one being against the practically unbeatable team of that time - SK Gaming 2016, Liquid were the underdogs, and s1mple had hard-carried them literally up to the major finals, but in the finals, he choked. In Faceit major 2018, they were against the Peak Astralis, also practically unbeatable (they had like a 32 match win streak, and many more. Astralis never lost :D) s1mple and electronic had carried all through the tournament, but choked in the finals :( In the 2 major semi-finals that s1mple's played in, he was a beast individually, but his team absolutely sucked, couldn't hit shots. That ENCE Mirage clip still gives me a bad mood lol :( Yeah, the star player style worked up till 2015, I would say. The meta was more mechanical skills-based, rather than strats-based. Hence, underdog victories were practically impossible, since the top teams had better individuals. Astralis changed the meta from a mechanical skill/star based one, to a stratting and anti-stratting based one. Many people say that Astralis made the game boring with their tactical style :D, but it worked. It wiped out most teams, regardless of firepower, except Navi. s1mple+elec firepower was usually too much to handle, just by anti-stratting. And yeah, nobody other than Astralis could beat them when they were on fire. It seems that Astralis anti-stratted s1mple so hard, for the major grand-finals, they took him out first, and that was Navi's kryptonite. Nowadays, strats are most important, you are right. Who am I? :D Just a friendly person on HLTV.

Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.

+1 Agreed with that. The same could be said about Nivera. Considering that he's new to Tier1 CS, it's easy to make mistakes, but he doesn't make many. Maybe it's because of good leadership/mentoring by Apex, I don't know. Whatever it is, he seems to have a bright future :)
2020-12-03 13:34

I think this is a common lapse in judgement, although ZywOo could have actually worked. A team of superstars is not necessarily a good idea. You see, when a player is already a superstar, it's kinda difficult to have them change their playstyle, to match the team dynamic. Building up the synergy takes work, sacrifice. Superstars might feel that they are already the best, why should they adjust their style for the team? This leads to individual power-houses, that fall flat in the face of a strategized attack. It's much better to have a superstar team, than a team of superstars.

He's the worst player into managing his money. He automatically buys kevlar when it's damaged and wastes a lot of money. RPK is also very wasteful. blog.scope.gg/zywoo_rpk_mistakes/

I think it has a lot to do with old players tendancy to bind their purchases on numberic keypad. For example, back in the days, players use to bind their buys like this: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetai.. So, the dude would refill kevlar everytime he would buy a weapon for a teammate.
