at the start he was their best player but now he isnt showing up. and with ALEX and floppy settling in better and better he and mezii (who also was better at the start) have really cooled down and are the obvious weaknesses

i personally kinda like the lineup, i want them to give it more time for sure but rn Mezii is for sure on the chopping block first followed by woxic. Smooya is a good option for a replacement for him but idrk who could replace Mezii(which imo is the more important move)

I’m not criticizing the team, I’m criticizing woxic. I am seeing the same performances from him that he was putting up for mouse earlier this year. I think he is a good lan player but I don’t think he’s a t1 player online, whether it’s mental or connection based, he has to be consistently good or C9 will suffer.
So you think it's impossible they are just taking slightly longer to settle in? And that their current low-form, which has only been a thing for a few games, is a permanent, unfixable condition that deserves an immediate kick?
The guys are on 3 year deals for crying out loud. If that isn't a sign of Cloud9 giving them plenty of time to settle in and develop, I don't know what is. And sure as all damned hell - HenryG and the rest of the Cloud9 staff running the org and the team know more about professional CS than any of we do.
I don't think they are the obvious weaknesses, in the team's first games es3tag was the "obvious" weak link. Now he's better. People criticized ALEX, because he had bad form for a few games, and said he was never cut out for tier 1 CS and that his stint with Valorant was just a stint. Then he dropped 54 frags in a map versus ENCE. People said floppy would never make it in EU, and he's already had some god-awful performances. Now he's better.
So, three out of five times, the critics have been proven wrong. Yet after only 9 games played, people are saying woxic and mezii are the "obvious" weak links and should be removed. So I take it we're judging all teams based off their last 9 games now? In which case tabseN is the obvious weak link in BIG and should be removed immediately - his last 3 games were shit!
There's some kind of weird bias where just because the Cloud9 roster was expensive, which by the way isn't entirely true - the whole 2.1 million thing with es3tag was not his buyout (reported to be around $500k), it was the complete value of his contract, including 3 years worth of salary. Sure, it's a high number, but you can bet your ass any pro player on a long term contract has a very similar value - there's nothing special about it. Anyways, just because they signed some impressive contracts, people expect the team to be Major-champion-material straight out of the gate? It makes no sense at all.
So please, anyone who's criticizing Cloud9 - please just be quiet for a month or two, and come back in February and then it's fair to judge them accurately. But judging a team only 9 series into their existence? Bull fucking shit.
too early to make changes, won’t see changes until minimum May 2021 (or like 2 months into LANs)

It was HenryG that hyped the team, built the team and so on, he was the one that said "colossus" etc, i did not and i did not expect this team to be a "colossus", especially not in the beginning. No team goes from zero to legends in 1½ month.
I, as a C9 fan, did not expect C9, or hype C9 when they played at Flashpoint, because i know they would most likely struggle. But, now they actually started to show some good stuff, win vs coL etc etc.

doesnt actually matter who said what. for money that they paid for those players and to them this should be instant t1 team.
overhyped by their manager, overpaid by their org...they surely can improve with time(and i expect that improvement) but again, i kinda understand that hate if we consider all circumstances. teams/players were hated here for WAAAAAAAAAAAY less

First of all, they have a guy that washed benched X months in Mouz.
They also have a "youngster" that for the first time plays T1-T2 CS.
So, you, and others, that expect C9 to be tier 1 and top 10 in 1 month or whatever are just dumb tbh.

Uhm. That is still not how it works.
Anyways, C9 have beaten a few decent and good teams so far, they just need to improve on some maps, CT/T sides and what maps they should ban.
The team had like a month, if even that, before Flashpoint started to practice and so on, obviously the chances of them winning FP1 wasnt big. And, before you mention HenryG: Who cares what he says? Mock him instead of the players lol.
