First of all. I did not use the word, "terrible." That's your own perception of the verbiage due to a pre-conceived notion when replying to me. So, please erase that.
2nd of all, you do not go to the movies alone nor do you experience it the same way like games...
You go with friends usually to enjoy it with friends and part of the reason why theatres existed was to facilitate that environment. You cannot simply cross fields like that. You're quite literally making a logical fallacy/strawman's argument right now. But whatever, I'll play along with you.
3rd of all, a movie does not factor in all the repetitive gameplay mechanics or kill enemy x with x new gun to get x new equipment to then equip and continue again and then get into cutscene or plot point. It does not incorporate how you must grind through a combat scene to get to the real meat of the side story or extra which is usually a pop-culture reference or a funny side joke or a jab at cross-referencing into another video game...For me personally, as I said in the beginning of my original statement where I said it has ME worried, it is not worth it.
Do you see why your comparison does not make sense?
