with the shit he dropped along with the csppa strike, coach bug, and stream sniping stuff im actually starting to believe there’s a corrupt secret club at the top and the conspiracy theory that “everyone cheats” is actually starting to be believable the game itself isn’t going to die but i can def see the esports scene shrinking if this keeps up also remember when he said that he was going to drop a bombshell when his career is over? i think this was just a sliver of how much dirt he has on the scene

riot games would seem to benefit from this in valorant. and nobody wants that. so maybe not giving ban was a good move for csgo scene. there should be prevention rather than outright banning.

same, maybe not everyone but maybe some players have been known cheating in the past (e.g. flusha potentially)

nah there are just a bunch of money-hungry people at the top that joined the scene when it started to peek in 2014-2016.

it’s still scummy asf but imagine the backlash if flusha was actually cheating

Richard Lewis has unparalleled knowledge of the scene that maybe only thorin has right now, when he drops the bomb (which will be soon, he’s talking about moving into politics) there will be shit going down. Thorin and RL have been saying this for months now though, the csppa is practically a talent agency that moves players around danish teams on the excuse of burnout and only respects esl, the company that finances it. It isn’t a player union, I thought that would be clear to everyone when mibr were ranked 8th because of TACOs position on the board. However everyone plugged their ears and chose to ignore it. This is sinister behaviour that is not welcome in our game. Then ESIC come along and start trying to clear up the mess and all they get is backlash, RL has said that they are underfunded, short on staff and not respected by people. So how can they get any work done when there is 0 cooperation from any party that needs to be regulated. You fucking people need to please see the bullshit, stop siding with corrupt organisations like the csppa and astralis management and trust the people who really do care like thorin, DeKay and RL. When have they ever lied to you? Seriously. Astralis and the csppa have said provable lies about the es3tag and bubski moves yet you call their word gospel. You fucking disgust me, arrogance is a choice and your inability to look through a poorly constructed facade is so unbelievably frustrating.

you notice how csppa only issued strikes against esl's rivals? esl and dreamhack did the same shit but they don’t care since that’s where they get money from apart from his s0mple rant 90% of what thorin says is true. the problem is that he acts like a 5 year old when he says it, sorta like trump

+1 That CSPPA contract was absolutely fucked too, and they actually tried publicly defending that shit

he is over sensationalizing the whole situation just like the "all t2 teams matchfix" claim lol

I remember when news of player unionizing appeared and I said it would be disastrous for up and coming players and the scene. A lot of scandinavian flagged guys went after me.
