Prize money has virtually nothing to do with earnings. Navi wins less, so obviously prize money is less. Astralis has won a lot, so prize money won is a lot. His major earning is because of his popularity, which gets him lots of sponsors. His brand endorsements for AMD Ryzen, Logitech, other famous gaming brands, earns him a lot of money. His salary should be around 30K-50K per month, in addition to ads, brand endorsements, and businesses.

It was FalleN back in 2018, not today. esportsearnings.com/games/245-counter-st.. But FalleN doesn't live only with the csgo money, he have some things like "Gamers Club" that is like Faceit to Latin America and he have a good store with mouses, mousepads, clothes, etc... at the end of the day I think he is the richest because of another things other than csgo's prize pool

He will definitely earn more than a Boombl4 or a Perfecto, but he still is in a CIS team and comes from a poorer region, so I think he makes less than he would be outside of the CIS region.

We are talking about the best player in the world tho. He renewed his contract when he was top 1 i believe. I'm sure he makes a lot more than just 20k. "give more money or i don't renew contract. Other teams will pay me 40k i will go to them" "ok here take 50k but plz stay("
2020-12-12 16:14
16 replies
The problem he has with contract negotiations is that he doesn't want to leave the team for some reason. I think he'd be willing to take a lower salary because he doesn't want to leave. Also if his salary would be that outrageous I'm sure it would be reported on by journalists who have sources inside Navi, but nobody is talking about it and Es3tag is talked about the highest paid player now.
2020-12-12 16:16
15 replies
we might never know but i personally would be shocked if he doesnt make more than lets say G2 (around 25k)
2020-12-12 16:20
He can leave anytime. If he says give me more or I leave it is a big threat. And imagine let s1mple go for free. You lose easy 2-3 Million buyout... We talk about es3tag cuz his salary is public. And we know what astralis players get and ex MIBR players got. But we don't know anything about Navi.
2020-12-12 16:24
13 replies
That only works if his contract is close to running out. It also requires him wanting to leave which I don't think is the case. Also, it is a flawed logic that it would mean losing 2-3 million buyout because nobody would want to pay that.
2020-12-12 16:24
12 replies
It doesn require that he wants to leave... the threat alone is enough. nobody would pay that buyout?? for the player with the most marketing value... probably top 5 marketing value in the whole esports scene and you don't pay 3 million for him?? + the skill he brings?ß sure but a Niko is 2 million worth. Joke logic.

Coldzera was bought for 1 million and he brings the whole Brazilian viewership with him. He is the most expensive player transfer up to this day. There is neither a precedent for your claim, nor is it financially viable to pay 3 million for a single player.
2020-12-12 16:33
8 replies
Coldzera wasn't on his peak at this time. You pay 2 million for a Niko who was never really really great and has no brazil fans, actually has only a few fans and more haters than fans. So your arguments have a big lack of logical consequences.
2020-12-12 16:37

Where do you have that idea from that G2 paid 2 million for Niko?
2020-12-12 16:38

Where have you the idea Coldzera is the most expensive player this day?? Niko cost 500k 2017 highest transfer back then. the highest transfer now. You don't sell your star player for the same money you bought a washed-up player.
2020-12-12 16:43

Because it was reported as such and since then there were no reports that anyone else was bought for more. In other words, you are just guessing. If you don't have a source, don't claim stuff as a fact.

HLTV.org and 1pv.fr first reported on G2's interest in NiKo on September 18. It was reported that a transfer could take several weeks to finalise due to the complexity of the deal — which will involve one of the biggest transfer fees in the game — and the busy schedule that both teams had ahead of them.

I'd assume he get paid a lot, but i doubt he's the best paid player. If he would be willing going to the US (col, C9) should be able to get a much more lucrative contract. He's living in ukraine which has pretty low tax rate (18%) and a much lower cost of living (Big mac index: $2.35 compared to $5.67 in US) so even if he get paid 75% of what the highest earner makes, his purchasing power is much higher living in ukraine.

He probably earns a lot more from brand endorsements than from basic salary (like most famous pros). He's an icon/mascot of many brands in gaming markets. 2 years ago, he earned enough to buy his own furnished penthouse and a supercar. Prize winnings are insignificant compared to other sources of income.
2020-12-12 16:29

Fallen is probably the richest pro, his mouses, keyboards and mousepads sells well here But to prove every pro is kind rich, take fnx or lucas1 as an example, this guys haven't played tier1 cs from a long time ago but they frequently post stories with expensive cars, they go in expensive clubs, shows, hotels, and only dressed in expensive branded clothes
