it definitely is.
The usual roles described are the ones Thorin coined and made public in 2015: Entry, Follow-up, Middle-man, Support and Lurker. Where IGL is either Entry or Support and the AWP is either Follow-up or Middle-man.
The roles have evolved since then.
In my mind, there isn't 5 set roles, but more like 10-15 roles where some are compatible while others aren't.

Same thing. Whenever we decide to take any position fast, I always end up entrying with the last respawn. They all just stop at a certain point, all waiting till someone goes first (which is always me)

And if I’m lucky to have at least 1 good teammate, when he’s closer and goes first, always support with some nades and go right after him

Train as long as teammates don't, especially IVY and connector. easy to be impactful with AWP on train.
Vertigo I like using AWP, it's not too hard :)
Inferno I usually pick up AWP
rest not as much, but I still do when teammates don't. ( I only soloQ D: )
Lately I've been playing less AWP tho. HS % gon eup by a lot thanks to that.

I see a lot of people are struggling to use brain and play late rounds properly so this is when I step in, that's the reason when people play with me they have a higher chance winning the game because I make plays.
Entry fraggers most of the time are bots who don't have brain and low k/d players who think they have low k/d because they are entry fraggers, no it's because you don't know how to play and find an excuse

Not really. If you queuing anything you will get people similiar to your level unless they are smurfing or hacking. And people what they are doing 80-90% of the time. But sometimes people get tilted with baiting and they just dont care about kd and win. So they push without thinking. And if everyone is gonna take safe duels, then CTs will win 100%. Someone has to go push and sacrifice himself for the team. And get traded so you can win round. But I think from your flag I can get that you are low level baiting your team with good kd and then blaming them and crying the whole game.

I never said my team is bad. But funny thing is when I have fucking russians in team, I always lose and I am top fragging 90% of the time but when there are other people from other countries I win. Honestly we all should play all roles even if you dont like it. For me im more into closer while playing passive and sometimes entry for T side and more of a passive support player for CT side. Sometimes i picked up the AWP depending on my mood. For example i usually played palace lurker at Mirage T side and halls lurker at Inferno T side, often i tried entry from both of those position and clutched quite good amout of rounds too. As for CT side i really like to be the rotater or b anchor while supporting my teammates. Like i said i think if you want to be better you gotta understand all of these roles before putting your self into one doesnt matter if you suck at it just try it and understand what are you gonna do. Ive played all of these roles and i can do it any time my team/teammates need me
Generally a mixture of support, entry and lurker and IGL. I usually am the one to go first as I like to play agressive or catch people of guard. That also explains why I like to lurk. I entry when I am the best option to get into a site and call the executes. I become a lurker when I believe we have enough firepower and it helps me to see the bigger picture and call the strats more freely. I also play support for my teammates but mostly as a flasher smoker. Throwing the flashes myself helps to execute strats more properly.
I dont play csgo online anymore but I used to play IGL, because nobody else can/want to IGL and I wasn't really good at anything else.
I've always been a IGL and lurker for my team bruh.

Lmao. Actually im a bit egoist and my aim is the 2. best aim in my team. But they don't even know good tactics and leading. We tried another IGL on some day and they've started fighting quickly haha kekw.
